I was going to post about something I learned playing "Mahjong" offline on my computer; I don't like to post as often as I used to, so I decided to play Mahjong instead. After I lost, I came back to say this because maybe it will help someone? I found out that playing Mahjong becomes like a meditative state. I also found out that while playing, sneaky negative thoughts are always intruding to bring me down. I started catching these thoughts and saying the "St. Michael's Prayer (yes, I'm a recovering Catholic)." Each time I beat a thought of negatives from my past, another thought would rush in, as negative or more. I must say that these thoughts came as I was in a semi-meditative state. I learned that as I shut one down, another would follow, and then maybe a break for a day. The attacks of "would've, should've, could've" would come back stronger than ever. Maybe this unsolicited advice is for someone like me (another Gemini) who can't really sit still in the lotus position to meditate. Mahjong taught me that these thoughts are ALWAYS there! Now, I know my enemy, it's my negative thoughts. Cheers.

I'm teary but I'm still in pain from serious 3 in 1 throat surgery. Cancer, large nodules and an hypothyroidectomy. Hopefully this will turn the corner for me and us. I'm literally surgical glued from ear to ear. We start our study period 2 (our after winter University etc). I had to take an SP off due to 'illness'. Hopefully I'll be able to run again soon. I've lost a lot of muscle mass. I'm determined through. I'm an Aries sun, Aquarius moon, Gemini rising and Venus in Pisces. Bring it on.
. My partner & love of 42yrs, I know he's coming home Elena. I can feel it. It's not codependent. It's as amazing as it ever was, and as I've said before, it's not a new person. I hope it’s not my ex who thinks he can rekindle something as that door closed and was bolted a long time, we still even lived together for 2 years after I called it quits and he did nothing to change my mind or made an effort in our relationship and eventually he moved out in April this year.
