The Lost Pixie Hollow concept for Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, needs to finally be brought to life. With this little Tinkerbell ride being part of it as well.
The Tokyo Disney Resort is owned and operated by a different company than Disney, the Oriental Land Company. They do pay licensing fees to Disney to use their characters and contract out Imagineering to design and build lands and attractions, but in the end, they’re a separate company not tied to the financials or corporate leadership of Disney. This means that they are able to take a look at the best that Disney has to offer and decide for themselves what to put in the parks.
Helps that it's a newer park, meaning Disney will be able to use the latest of their tech, like Rise of the Resistance or Runaway Railway, or even the animatronic on the Navi ride. They'll probably bring the same tech to the US parks in the future once they see that the overseas rides are successful, as what happened with Pooh's Hunny Hunt and Mystic Manor, though those rides have shown a bit of age as with the original older rides in the US. There's probably some funds being translated and some restrictions or freedoms being established but for the most part these are all technologies developed by Disney. Like they brought Ratatouille and now the Tron Light Cycle ride over so I doubt Disney is relinquishing ownership and responsibilities of their own IP's, unless there's an extremely oddly specific set of circumstances and a loosely crafted story that says otherwise. Like why would Japanese higher-ups have or know about anything to do with investment in Disney's products lol.
@@lightyagami1058 I mean I’m more impressed by the size of the land and the immersive theming. Like this should’ve been new fantasy land at Disney World. I feel like the people who own the Disney parks in Japan are putting more money and effort into expanding their parks unlike Disney who’s greatest efforts are lands with one simulation and an innovative experience. Other than that they’ve just been bringing in rides from other parts of the world or rehashing old rides like Space Mountain and Tower of Terror with new IP.
The budget of this project from the beginning $2.3 Billion, With 4 attractions all original. 1 Biggest and most luxurious hotels in the resort. occupying of 24 acres of land. Biggest expansion to tokyo as to date.
@@KilamajaroKen I feel like with Magic Kingdom not having the capacity that Disneyland has, it could replace storybook circus or somewhere around there in fantasyland adding many new rides. Also, perhaps a controversial opinion, but Tom Sawyer is outdated with the times, It could be cool to see that island transformed into Arendelle, and would add the potential to bring the cool frigate type ship that’s at Disneyland & not Disney World since that would fit into the lore of Frozen.
@@terraJosh It will NEVER happen. American Disney NEVER clones any Tokyo Disney Attractions in America. They are simply too expensive for American Disney's Lower budgets.
It’s about TIME they cared about Peter and Tink ESPECIALLY! REAL Disney characters that are sadly barely even out there anymore, I could care less about the others, but these two being actually recognized again has me very excited! 😊 A Tinkerbell ride though, that should of been a thing for the Disney Fairies years ago, if they cared and stopped milking Frozen and the other newer ones that’ll never count as Disney brands or characters so much, they could of done this years ago, but it’s exciting it’s finally happening and hopefully this means we’ll see that franchise again! :) (UPDATE: We’ll never get this stuff around here, Japan always gets the good stuff before us, but it’s so nice they actually care about Tink and Peter again unlike here in the West… )
Tokyo Disneys oriental company understands what makes Disney Disney. But the American side doesn’t understand what an investment is when they make billions upon billions with their garbage “lands” and changes what a joke
All the International Disney parks are getting new Lands, while Universal is getting a whole new theme park. And American Disney parks are just getting a cheap retheme of a 33 year old ride.
@@f.o.2139 Actually no, FLIGHT OF PASSAGE doesn't have railing physical sets, AA, You get to fly to neverland without needing to wear 3d glasses. You will be dangling above neverland like never before.
The vehicle looks exactly like the Simpson and BTTF vehicles with its high side walls to try and hide the other vehicles looking at the same imax dome screen.
You know, the music seems a bit too ominous for rides themed around animated Disney movies, especially at the beginning. If there was a dinosaur themed ride revealed, then it would be more fitting!
im just glad it looks like they are willing to reinvest into the disney fairies world and hopefully reboot that in some way
This is for Tokyo Disney. They aren't owned by Disney and have no control over what IP Disney wants to reboot or invest in.
@@f.o.2139I’m afraid you’re right 😢😢
Hace 1 año lanzaron muñecas nuevas de Disney fairies
Beautiful new recordings for one of the few interesting projects! 🤩

This looks so much better than Galaxies Edge and even Pandora. Why does Japan get all the good stuff?!?!
Because Disney isn't paying for it.

I really wish they could bring Fantasy Springs to WDW.
Where would you put it, though?
