Well man thank you very much!! We are very grateful you found us and understand us! Welcome to the #wolfticknation and being here to enjoy. See you Tuesday for the XR PRO upgrades stage #1 and hope to see you in the comments brother.
I can't wait to see the upgrades you guys do the X1. I have mine stripped down almost to the frame, having issues with getting the drive side bottom bracket out. :( But I'll get it, Wolftick style with a pipe wrench probably. Planning on an Advent X 10 speed drive train. Still haven't decided what fork to get, as my new front wheel has convertible 9x100QR or 15x100TA hubs.
MAN! Be careful with the Wolftick Style LOL love the way you think though!!! Just worked on the XR PRO tonight and it is coming along man. Hope all goes well and please let us know what the Advent does! Have not heard a bunch on the 10spd

HA HA yes the bars are very solid and man oh man is that watch nice:) Thanks for watching every minute of our vids Dan, you are a true O.G.!! Later buddy and hope you have an amazing WEEKEND!! CHEERS:)

I knew mongoose bikes was good think you should take it round again as the wheel come loose 👍lots of good things in the post happy days 👍Great video again keep up the good work
What the I just bought that exact same wake handle bar from Amazon it took 2 days to get, good stuff gents you inspired me to get back into mountain biking!
Well thank you for being a part of the #wolfticknation and watching our silly a$$es man! Way to be inspired and back riding again, thank you for the awesome comment:) Be safe and we will see you TUESDAY!!
Great eco friendly episode with the biodegradable fork lube and organic cotton merch! Was surprised the X1 had such a good time. Once upgraded it's a serious contender. BTW. I have a Boundary and the Pro Rush still ghost shifts even after a bike shop tuneup.
Man thank you for saying that!! LOL That thing is a mess brother. Just wait for our Tree hugger shirts!! ECO AT ITS FINEST!! X1 is gonna be lit and man just wait till tomorrows XR PRO vid! Later Chris thanks man

@Jack and Dan 😆😂🤣😭 oh man you killed us with this one! We can't wait to hear the Ron Burgundy reference. Oh man am I going to be sore from laughing tomorrow. Great comments Dan!👍👍
RAXMAN!! MAn thank you so much, very cool of you to do that for us. I cannot wait to mount them n the AXUM DP?? We have got some rotors we need to try and after the redland review we are itching to upgrade them:) So these brakes have come at a great time brother. Also the stems WOW, thank you thank you! Always can use parts man. Hope you have a great weekend and thank you for letting us know!! Peace brother💙
Thanks a bunch Ronin, we wish you could get your hands on one as well brother:) It is an awesome bike. Oh well I guess you are gonna have to live thru us!! LOL Thanks man and see you Tuesday for our XR PRO BUILD!! Thanks for being apart of the #wolfticknation
money footage👊🏻. i am really excited when you release these ride videos. lubing they fork and shock is the way to go. the racetrack brand has a spray stanchon lube that i have been using for a long time.
Well so happy you enjoy a little lube too;) may look into that brand for a soon the road to-go style. Thanks again for watching Jamie and we will see ya TUESDAY!! XR PRO TIME:)
Leather bound books and rich mahogany lol! Put that same fork on the Al Comp for my wife, going to put it on her Mongoose Bash once I start the upgrades. Crazy how the stock Ardor outshined everything🚵🤷 I love this MTB Life can't wait to ride again! "Keep the budget low and the stoke high" "Let's R-I-D-E"

Great video boys ! Getting back to those times, 🤭 how much is the bike and how much of it is you Tick man just being a better rider? How does the saying go: it’s not the equipment it’s the operator. 💪🏻👍🏻
You guys need to do a poster through tee spring, I know you can do them, (I have a tempering account for a curator I manage) and I would love to put it up in my room that’s getting painted, just a photo of the Jeremiah catching some air or something
Hahaha That's my son for you. He was born a little perv and just grew bigger😂. The funny thing is I didn't even let him watch PG-13 until he was 13 or 14 and he still came out that way. I guess some people are just beyond help🤣. The color is nice. Thanks man👍
18:43 I think the XR Pro deserves another shot in its stock form, the 2+ minutes in difference from the last one, make it an outlier, something must have happened.
I bet you would get better times on a lot of your older bikes since you’ve ridden the cats meow a ton now. You know the trail better and you also have better fitness than when you started it’s be interesting to see revamped times now that your well into this
Man we got a sweet deal on a shock and installed it on the XR PRO! I am thinking you may otta go with that first. Remember you will have to changeout the headset and get a new tapered fork as well, and it is a pain to find one with a 9mm QR unless you are wiling to send the $$ for a thru axle 15mm. I would go rear shock, then brakes then FORK:)
The GT needs another pass from the Stig but loving that the stock Mongeese are topping the charts! Excited to see the potential unleashed with few touches of leather and rich mahogany! I had several good laughs in this vid! I don't know how to put this but you’re kind of a big deal. People know you. You are very important! I feel like like have been coming to the same Wolftick party for 12 years now and in no way is that depressing! Sorry Jason…
🤣🤣 MAN!! Me and the Wolfman are in tears:) You know what you are talking about ha ha ha love the Wolftickisams and the quotes!! LOL Thanks for being here Kevin and thanks for the laughs man-have a great WEEKEND
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS kuddos to you two! Amazing that you try to read and respond to everyone’s comments! You are going to need to hire a team to manage that as your subs continue to climb exponentially
That fork lube is great I use it also, Nice test I think if you did not have the little problems and the front axle coming lose I think it would have been much faster. I may get this bike in the future my Gravity FSX 1.0 bike is more of a XC bike with a head angle of 71 deg and seat tube angle 73 Deg I think this ledge my work a lot better in the rough rocky stuff and I do have a rear dmn coil shock laying around that I never used and if I do get the ledge I probably would get a fork and maybe some little things and leave it mostly stock. Thanks for the test run!
Man I want a fork with orange stanchions but nobody makes a shorter one for gravel bikes. Wonder if you could shorten a set enough to keep the geometry decent......hmm
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I really want something with short travel like the new suntour gvx but just not gonna pay that much lol. Trying to find out if I can take one of these cheaper forks and lower them down so the front of the bike isn't jacked way up. Only need 40-60mm of travel honestly.
Hello Wolf and Tick :D I would love to see the internals of the HImAlooo🎶 drift 32 fork. Maybe a video where you take it apart and take a closer look at the components (damper, sliders, piston, upper legs inside). Im dying to know whether it has plastic or metal sliders. Happy biking!
LOL HIMALOO!!!! HA HA Man if we do that it may be a little while, we just installed it on the XR PRO!! But that is a very good idea:) Thank you for being here and commenting brother:) See it in action again TUESDAY!! HIMALOOOOOO!!
I bought a CakCity watch a while back. Loaded with temp, altimeter, compass etc. Found it didn't do anything very well but tell time. Looked good. Then one morning i woke up the find the lens had cracked. Flimsy plastic. But end if day vapor got in and jt was useless. Bought a Garmin Fenix after that and will never look back
Wow, the elev is a little funky, the compass is ok most of the time, the temp is dead on and the time (both of them) is great lol. Would love to get a garmin! The CakCity is a little bulky:/
You should see a merch window under the video. If that is not working try the end screen at the end of this video. Let us know if they are working or not please. Thanks man👍
No it did not......The Ascension's was a little wobbly but it was because it was not tightened (pealing will tighten a freewheel). But it had a tiny bit of wobble, that is normal for bid box bikes. Not all but we have experienced it a couple of times.
We have a few Ledge Videos out now, and we will be upgrading and reviewing the upgrades in weeks to come. Thanks and here is the playlist for that bike:https: //th-cam.com/video/K8KJUlW5DWA/w-d-xo.html
Duuude those new ztz forks looks absolutely amazing I'll have to see if they'll send me one 👀 And will the shirts still be available around Christmas timehopefully I can buy one around then Also loved the top gear reference haha
the ledge upgraded will be a monster, please give it a good fork like a recon or epixon that can last with the bike (i mean if you can get one for a good deal put a revelation or a fox on that bad boy xD )
Haha this is funny that you noticed that also. When I was getting all of the time stamps together I noticed the same thing and told Jeremiah. Jeremiah was shocked that all of the top times were 27.5 bikes. I personally think a lot is made about 29ers and other things that are just marketing or people repeating stuff they hear from others. Regardless of what is real and not it is usually a fun argument that most of us can enjoy having😆. Thanks man for all of your support👍👍 NOT.com🤣
still got to peel that ugly sticker off lol if u did that the bike would have been a full 2seconds faster lol also its cool seeing u progress in riding that trail man keep it up!
Have to agree with tuning derailleurs. Even after you spend hours fine tuning it, you get out a pedal for an hour those cables are hot and streched out you'll be back to not shifting right. It takes probably a couple weeks of riding to perfect some of these cheap bike groupsets. Honestly question how they haven't come up with a better shifting option for bikes. Maybe eshfiters will be reasonably priced some day. I hate to say redesign the wheel but the current way derailleurs work is exhausting for someone that just wants to ride. It's been the biggest pain in the butt from riding 20 inch bmx bikes back in the day to road bikes and 29ers now.
THANK YOU!! HA HA man it is so freaking hard!! LOL I know most people think most of us cannot tune them in but man does it take some real effort and patience. And most of the time it is the derailleur itself:) Thanks man!
We are lucky, but we also put in an enormous amount of work on our channel. We are currently averaging 50 hours a week working on our channel and haven't missed an upload in well over a year. I think that has got to be factored in as well. Thanks man
Axum dp or comp zerkr since they both have droppers. Yes evan and kevcentral said box components was ass so I wouldn't buy it. But Jared uses box comoenrts quite a bit.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS you may want to try the Trans-X Jump Seat with the trigger under the seat. I am finding it quite nice and am going to buy another for my bigger seat tube. You guys are growing -- still looking forward to WTNation reunion in Bentonville!
🤣🤣 Man its gotta be in HOT SPRINGS!! LOL May look at the Trans-X, really could of used it today on the XR RPO, man got that thing stylin and profilin!! Were are you out of??
all Wake stuff scares me, I've seen pics of stems and bars snapped. some even had varied wall thickness, and holes were not round, and some were not even to spec at the clamping area, so bar was not secure. what I've seen is ridiculous. butt the quality varies a lot it seems, maybe they improved things who knows, but if they keep it well made and use 6000 and 7000 series alloy they will perform well. but that won't help if they are to made up to spec and and are too thin and snap, or stem is so sharp it cuts a bar. so they really have to do a great job for a logn time to get a good reputation, cus now they have a very bad rep. with actual engineers in comments saying how ridiculous it is, that's never a good sign.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS what do you mean? 720mm width? 7000 series alu? I've used 6000 series and 7000 series bars and crashed hard, no issues. if you meant size, 800mm is minimum for me. I had 720mm before, but getting right size is important, too wide will kink the wrists, which is bad.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS no i am using 800. But my previous bike originally came with 720mm. But swapped to 800. And ran thst ever since. Another awesome video!! Best line of the video, Jeremiah - "Who would have thought a $9.99 bottle of lube would feel this good"🤣 AND to boot he says it while PUMPING the fork 🤣. I'm sure Aunt Eva nearly fell out of her chair watching and hearing this 🤣 I think you've just now acquired perhaps the ugliest stem and fork I've ever seen 🤣 But it will be interesting to see if they can outperform their ugliness 🤣 Jeremiah you're awesome to have mentioned my comment from a while back about how I got my Boundary to shift like butter. I don't know how the heck you even recalled my comment given you've got nearly 11,000 subscribers and you recalled it while on the trail to boot. And yep, I spent HOURS dialing in that shifting on my Boundary. You probably wouldn't believe that I actually at one point, had 5 new bikes from Walmart in my garage (Mongoose Flatrock DX, Schwinn Aluminum Comp, Taff and 2 Boundaries) and ran them through my own quality control process with side by side comparisons and rides, before I returned 4 of them 🤣 and settled on my Boundary (thanks in large part to your videos). I guess I'm a serial Walmart returner 🤣 If Pacific Cycle would have consistent quality control I wouldn't have had to be like the Forest Gump of bicycles by running to 7 different Walmarts across my state of Ohio (drove over 300 miles in total) in order locate decent bikes without major issues, before finally settling on my Boundary. I love my Boundary (hence my name change from EJ to EJ No Boundaries) and it still shifts like butter, but I'm dealing with a bad rear wheel hub (which my other Boundary also had). I gotta say that while Pacific Cycle's quality control sucks, their customer service is awesome. They sent me a new rear wheel, fork and headset bearings. When are you coming over to help me install them?????? I'm a novice mountain biker and novice bike mechanic, so I could use all the help I can get 🤣
Man we are very in touch with our viewers and are very involved:) So you are just as important as everyone else man:) So happy you watched ha ha.
LOL, we try:) it usually take s3 hours but we manage to get ti done man, we embrace the GRIND:)
You ar welcome man, it seems you need a LEDGE!! HA HA
Ive been wanting to try fork specific lube, just never got around to buying any! Also been wanting to try a advent derailleur.
Well we got you covered!! Also you CANT find this lube were you are getting yours LOL, different isle:)
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS yeah, i know, ive seen it online, just never bought it!
🤣🤣
I use the forkboost lube after every ride ! It's honestly the easiest cheapest way to make the fork feel better lol
Man so happy we found some!! Thanks
I see the kid teaching you how to fix your bike 🚴 🦊💪🏻
YES SIR!! He has the know how:)
Man I want a fork with orange stanchions but nobody makes a shorter one for gravel bikes. Wonder if you could shorten a set enough to keep the geometry decent......hmm
What size you looking for??
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I really want something with short travel like the new suntour gvx but just not gonna pay that much lol. Trying to find out if I can take one of these cheaper forks and lower them down so the front of the bike isn't jacked way up. Only need 40-60mm of travel honestly.
Gotcha, I am sure that is hard to find:(
Hello Wolf and Tick :D I would love to see the internals of the HImAlooo🎶 drift 32 fork.

Guys where's the link to get one of those Badass shirts?
You should see a merch window under the video. If that is not working try the end screen at the end of this video. Let us know if they are working or not please. Thanks man👍

Hey guys
Did the stock freewheel get wobbly and or noisy on you after this run?
No it did not......The Ascension's was a little wobbly but it was because it was not tightened (pealing will tighten a freewheel). But it had a tiny bit of wobble, that is normal for bid box bikes. Not all but we have experienced it a couple of times.
Hi man just wanted to let you know got a little busy but I found them again now I just need to order them. Sorry.
No problem brother

Team Ardor!!
That's Right!!!😂👍. Project Ron Burgundy for the win😎
👍👍👍
I do not know about the wake stuff.
We have had no issues with their stuff thus far, and it gets rode hard.
I’ll say it again! Geometry is free, it’s one of the biggest factors in overall bike performance and the Ardor(Endor) is proof!
🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏 YOU NAILED IT!!!

I have a micro shifter. It works. And I got mine for 8 bucks.
Dang that is a great find right there!

Man you are so right!! Cannot wait to give it maybe....a new suntour??
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS it needs it !
One thing I noticed about your list is that the fastest bikes are all 27.5, negating the argument that 29ners are faster.
Q: Are Ledge X1 and Ledge X2 frames identical ?
From all that we have heard, yes. We don't plan on getting the X2.
5:47 like a kilo, lmfao

The first 30 sec... did you taste it.. what the hell is wrong with you? Subscribed.
HA HA Thanks BROTHER:) Welcome t the #WOLFTICKNATION appreciate you subbing man.
still got to peel that ugly sticker off lol if u did that the bike would have been a full 2seconds faster lol also its cool seeing u progress in riding that trail man keep it up!
Thanks Steve, it is a fun trail and the MONGOOSE STICKERS ARE COMING OFF!!! LOL
Someone doesn't want you crashing with junk brakes! Lol

We are good man haha how are you?
all Wake stuff scares me, I've seen pics of stems and bars snapped. some even had varied wall thickness, and holes were not round, and some were not even to spec at the clamping area, so bar was not secure. what I've seen is ridiculous. butt the quality varies a lot it seems, maybe they improved things who knows, but if they keep it well made and use 6000 and 7000 series alloy they will perform well. but that won't help if they are to made up to spec and and are too thin and snap, or stem is so sharp it cuts a bar. so they really have to do a great job for a logn time to get a good reputation, cus now they have a very bad rep. with actual engineers in comments saying how ridiculous it is, that's never a good sign.
Man I would say atleast up to a 720 and I would not worry;)
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS what do you mean? 720mm width? 7000 series alu?
I've used 6000 series and 7000 series bars and crashed hard, no issues.
if you meant size, 800mm is minimum for me. I had 720mm before, but getting right size is important, too wide will kink the wrists, which is bad.
Yeah 720mm was what I meant, so no on a 720mm?? Why is that??

Another awesome video!! Best line of the video, Jeremiah - "Who would have thought a $9.99 bottle of lube would feel this good"🤣 AND to boot he says it while PUMPING the fork 🤣. I'm sure Aunt Eva nearly fell out of her chair watching and hearing this 🤣
I think you've just now acquired perhaps the ugliest stem and fork I've ever seen 🤣 But it will be interesting to see if they can outperform their ugliness 🤣
Jeremiah you're awesome to have mentioned my comment from a while back about how I got my Boundary to shift like butter.
