    Thank you so much! Just recently found your channel & you have completely changed my entire outlook on makeup. There were certain things I knew would work better for me (ex. concealer before foundation) but I was always told I was wrong & I had to do things a certain way. The info you give is life changing. Seriously! I'm a 39 year old stay-at-home Mom of 3 & when I am able to get dressed up & go out, your tips & advice have helped me find my old self again. It's more than just the makeup, it's the rediscovered confidence. My partner has even commented about the changes he has seen. It's also the thing I have for myself that is outside of him & our children. My gratitiude knows no bounds. Keep on touching lives all around 🌎

    When I first clicked on this video, I thought, She looks too good, no way will make up me similar. Then you appear with a naked face and wow, I'm glad I kept watching! I don't have dark circles, but I have other discolourations and I have lapsed in used cover up. I think I need to get back at it! I probably also used way too little concealer! I saw that Tarte concealer at Sephora today, and I'll admit, I actually thought it was for camouflaging body tape. I was confused LOL.

    • @NinaUbhi1
      @NinaUbhi1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would try and address the oiliness with your skincare first as this will make it much easier for you when using a variety of makeup products. Alternatively, try using a light moisturizing lotion instead of cream, then a mattifying primer and after makeup use a setting spray

    How do I apply the Huda Beauty powder (I bought after seeing it on your video!).

    • @NinaUbhi1
      @NinaUbhi1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! It takes a bit of getting used to but it's honestly a much better dispenser than the traditional loose powder dispenser. You need to keep the small insert black lid on it by holding it down with your finger then turn it upside down and tap the underside of the tub, flip it back to the right way around, take the black lid off and you should have a good amount of powder ready for you :) Hopefully that makes sense!

    Mac Studio fix powder foundation is awesome! And she’s right you got a practice skin with moisture and instead of using the pad that comes with it get a big fluffy brush and put it on and I promise you you will look like a foundation that you’re going to basically put a setting powder on anyways over the top so you can skip all the steps!

    • @AnnieNugget

      I think she used concealer under the eyes and then the foundation powder on the eyes and under-eyes. And then the same foundation powder on the rest of face but with a different brush. And then she also used a contour powder and blush powder afterwards.

    Hello great review. I have a question when you se your eyes with powder covering them. Does your eye shadow blend better ? Thanks Xoxolynette 3232

    It is rare, but apparently powder concealer does exist. I just recently learned that Bare Minerals has a powder concealer. Can't say if it's good or not, but a lot of people seem to like it.

    If you wanted to use cream products would you put them on before the powder foundation? Or just skip cream products when applying powder foundation all together? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

      You just put them underneath like under painting technique xx

    Hai nina im really a beginner..do we need to wet the sponge of the powder foundation before we apply it?

      For powder foundation you don’t need to wet it

    I am a huge fan,just discovered your videos so I try to practice every opportunity I get.it seems you use loose powders always to set under your eyes?I have been using compact powder to set under my eyes and I ways feel it looks funny 😀 is it my application that is faulty or is it because its a compact powder?

    • @NinaUbhi1
      @NinaUbhi1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I prefer loose as it sets better but it's always good to test both if possible

    What about powder foundations that require “buffing into the skin” like Bare minerals powder foundations? I feel like that type of powder requires a lot of prep to be able to glide and melt into the skin. Not quite sure why i can’t make it work for me… 😞

    • @NinaUbhi1
      @NinaUbhi1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'll be honest, I haven't tried Bare Minerals as yet and heard that it needs to be buffed into the skin which for me is a little too time consuming but if I come across having to try it anytime soon, I'll be sure to do a video on this :)

      I only use Bare minerals powders.. I love this product.. but don't feel like I use it correctly! I'm gonna try these techniques.. I use powder foundation & mineral viel after.. but I have creases under my eyes.. I have no idea how to hide them.. I need to try some mascara techniques.. but I barely have any eyelashes.. I get mascara everywhere!!!!

    My skin is SUPER oily. I cannot use ANY moisturizer under ANY foundation or my makeup literally melts right off my face within a couple of hours. I have to use a super matte oil control primer and then pat in a no-sebum powder to finish on my nose, forehead, cheeks, and chin. Even that doesn't control the oil all day.

    Thank you so much for this. I’m keen to try. I have oily skin and always look to touch up my face when my face gets too outdated through out the day 😅❤
