I've been looking at buying one of the blinds for mainly on field edges with no trees that you can get into. Have you tried it in a corn field? I've seen videos that it blends well but my main concern is shooting lanes. Thanks for the info from the side or behind. They have 6 sided models and I think that would help but do you have enough room and how afar back are you from the blind?
I am not a little guy and I feel like it has a decent amount of room. I sit a couple feet back and always make sure my stabilizer doesn’t hit when my bow arm is fully extended. I think the blind will work in any setting. You just want to have a good stool/chair height and a decent back drop. If your sitting on a tall chair in an open field you will be picked off easy. I have used it in an open field but I didn’t even use a chair. I just knelt behind it. I drew below the blind and then once at full draw rose up into the shooting lane.
@@xtripv108I actually tried it haha. It was a few years ago but I remember the way they lined up with the old camo pattern it didn’t look great. With that being said it may look better with the new pattern. A very expensive experiment lol. I ended up returning the second blind.
I gave up on tree stands about 30 years ago when I got my first deer, and haven't looked back. The ghillie suit is cool but not needed. I have had deer walk right past me under 10 yards while I was wearing ww2 style cammo.
I watched a couple videos on it and it looked like they turned out pretty well. I have had the ghost blind for years and just didn’t have the time to try to make one on my own. I’m sure someone who is handy could do it with no problem.
The Ghost Blind is amazing. I have had deer and many hunters walk right past me. No idea that I was there.
I have been pleasantly surprised how well it has worked for me. I was able to take a nice 10 pointer out of it
Ya right pal
I have one- they work well in the right situation
I agree. You can’t just sit them out anywhere. Have you taken anything from it?

Why not set a second ghost blind behind you? 360 coverage :)

I have hunted corn. Play the wind. They won't see you.
It works great in corn fields. Sit one row back in

I have a hard time keeping still lol. But nothing gets your heart racing like going full draw from the ground!
OK THAT SHIT IS SWEET
Back into a backdrop!. Geez!
I'm only 5' 8" tall, would I have difficulty shooting a vertical bow over the top of the panels?
Not at all. I’m only 5’10” and have plenty of clearance.
@GrantSmith_Bowreaper - okay thanks for the response. I'll buy one...
Wouldn't it be easy to make your own ghost blind with some thin plywood and flexible mirror sheets glued on?

What brand Ghille

For the suit if you can find them get some fake brown leaves
Not a bad idea! They also sell ones that are made more for the fall months.
I want one covered with fluffy marshmallows
Overpriced. You can make one for hundreds less
I think I bought it for $200.00 lol. I’d love to see what someone came up with on their own. Definitely be able to customize it building it yourself.
Buy the side extensions like I done and you won't regret it.
I have them. They definitely have saved me before haha.
Your talking about the extensions that go on the top right?
