In the formule that you have used, how do you define ( or measure ) porosity of the bed? If it is a sand and gravel bed what would be the porosity value to be used in the formula?
We have calculated the porosity value in lab. Easy to calculate.

1.First set your objectives, why you want to design CW.
2. Site selection, plant selection, etc
3. Size of CW, most important part.
