I’m from Kerala , India .
There was a Bhutanese story I read in my childhood. It was about the friendship between a Buddhist zen and a stray dog.he named the dog Nado because the dog was black in colour and according to Bhutanese tradition he named him nado meaning white.in the end of the story the dog sacrifices it’s life to save the zen from a crocodile.
I am searching for this story for a long time but in vain. I tried these keywords everywhere. Anyone out there if know the name of the original story or English translation kindly help me with a reply.
