Seasons greeting, and thank you so much for all of your wonderful vlogs this year. I enjoyed them all, and especially the Festive Friday vlogs - so inspiring, and I may tackle some of the gift ideas for next year.
Ooh can’t wait to see your Heather dress - another one I’ve been wondering about! Love your Christmas tree top and your quilting and your enthusiasm for all things creative! Enjoy your son’s play and don’t forget your tissues for proud Mama moments! Keep the camera rolling ❤
Hi Sue! I’m looking forward to the Heather alright. It’s been on my mind a few times! I’ll be bawling on Thursday 😂😂😂 Thanks so much for watching and glad you liked the vlog!
Congratulations on the Gift for November prize! Your Christmas tree sweater is so festive. I just ordered the pattern to have at the ready for next year!
Your Christmas tree sweater is gorgeous! I can't wait to see your Sew liberated sweater. That pattern has been on my wishlist for a long time. It looks like such a fun pattern! I also like quilting, but my efforts are no where near as precise as yours. The placemats are so festive. Have a lovely week! x
Thanks Karen marie! I’m so excited about the sew liberated pattern! It looks great! The quilting has been such good fun, and needs so much more precision than I’m used to! Hope you’re having a lovely week x
😂😂😂 you made me laugh out loud when you said 'if that doesn't sound like a perfect evening then I think you're on the wrong channel'. Always love your videos, enjoy your week, sounds great. ❤️
That oragami sweatshirt is just lovely! I agree with you…the simplicity suits it perfectly. I would leave it as is :) Welcome to Team Heather!! I was wearing one yesterday and I am a true fan! Can’t wait to see the direction you take it in! I love Heathers as much as you love Freyas! I hope you enjoy all the family visits. I think your sister night sounds perfect! So I am on the right channel☺️
Team Heather!!! Sign me up!!! Can’t wait to get going!! Oooh it would be tough competition to the Freya alright! Glad you’re on the right channel.. have a lovely week!!!
Rachel your crochet leaves are so sweet. When alive, my Dad made all 5 daughters and my stepmom gold pins of holly leaves with small berries at the end. It’ll go to my granddaughter in the future. Thanks to you I’m wearing it tonight for our party. Always love your vlogs-Claudia
Rachel, I think you might actually like Christmas even more than I do! You are super excited! Can’t wait to see the SOI apron, good for many jobs I think. Love the carpenter vibes of it too!
Rachel, you’re a real inspiration with all your crafty makes and ideas. I’ve been a subscriber for a while now and you are responsible for many of my makes. Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy Christmas with lots of crafting…..😉🎄
That’s so kind thanks so much! Hahaha I’m glad you’ve found some makes you like and enjoy! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas too with plenty of time for crafting and sewing !! Thanks again 🎄❄️
I’ve made several Heather dresses. LOVE them. Sewing Bunny’s Vlog has a sew-along which is good to watch as the pockets can be hard to figure out. At least it was for me the first time I made it. Love your little necklace and Christmas Tree top. Sounds like you have a lot of family time right now. YAY!
Oh I’ll check that out. Thanks Loriann! It looks like a great pattern’ we’re having a lovely few weeks thanks! Sending love to wherever exciting location you’re in now!
Hi Rachael! I love all your makes and I love pom pom makers, all those years of trying to fit wool through a tiny hole of cardboard! I made a wreath with pom poms! Loving all the festive jewellery and I now want to make the origami Christmas tree! Thank you for another lovely vlog and congratulations on winning a prize xx
Thanks Mandy!! Wasnt that such a nightmare making them in the little cardboard doughnut!! A Pom pom wreath sounds amazing.. I know what I’ll be doing next year 😜 thanks so much for watching and youd love the tree! So delighted with my prize 🥰 x
Rachael as always love the video ❤ The wee candy cane necklace is so eye catching 👌 The jumper is perfect, love that the tree is in like layers and can move! I say keep it as it 🎉
You can't beat a Pom Pom maker! I've made a few of those recently to jazz up the boys boring beanie hats. Aren't they such fun, especially if you layer different colours of wool on them. That Christmas Tree jumper turned out so well, adding anything else would have been too much you are right. Congrats on winning a price!! I have sewn a couple of SewOver it patterns would you believe 😂. That Quilted star jumper is going to be right up your street, I can't wait to see that. Have a wonderful weekend with your parents. ❤🎄
The Pom poms are so cool! And oooh multicoloured. I must try that! I am loving my Christmas tree jumper! So happy with it! Wow you’ve sewn sew over it 😉 that’s great. Il looking forward to tackling them in the new year! We had a wonderful weekend thank you’ I hope likewise!!!
Hi Rachael loving your origami top just the way it is. Every time I see your Aldi fat quarters I get serious fomo - we were south of the border this week, staying at Killenard, and I hoped that I might be able to nab some. Not a hope as the Aldi we tried in Newbridge didn’t’t have any. One day I’ll manage to nab some 😀. However, I did manage to nab quite a few things at Kildare Village 👍🏻. I’m going to give a few of your recent patchwork items a wee go as they are adorable. Keep on updating us on your crochet progress as I pick up a hook from time to time. X
Hi Anne! Thanks so much! Hope you treated yourself in Kildare village! And I’m glad you’ll try the patchwork and crochet!! I’m so sorry you didn’t get any Fat quarters. Would you mind sending me a message on Instagram? I’ve a quick question for you 🎄
Like your patcheork sweatshirts a lot. I made a few patchwork quilts back in the day, but then stopped. I might start again in 2024. Not saying which month 😅. Happy Christmas to you and all your family from a fellow Dub.
I’m in love with your origami Christmas tree on your Billie shirt. I’m diving in and giving it a go. I want to get the sew liberated nest sweatshirt too. Love your crochet updates and am going to get the clover Pom Pom makers and I’m getting the clover tassel makers too. I’m just close to finishing a knitted afghan and may add small Pom Poms or small tassels on it.
Misusu Patterns has a cute sweatshirt pattern with a cut diamond design pieced on the front. It's called the Dia Sweater (I assume it's the first three letters of diamond). It's quite fun and pretty too, and can have a high low hem in a tunic length,or have a straight band in a hip length sweatshirt. And the diamond can be simple, or pieced in a more complex design.
@TheFrenchSeams_vlog it has several variations. One of them is a simple design, or you can do the more complex pieced one. But they are all straight lines, so they shouldn't be too difficult.
@TheFrenchSeams_vlog I had forgotten all about it but I own one other Quilted look sweatshirt pattern that I think is cute too. It's from 5 out of 4 Patterns (named because she delivered 4 times but has 5 children because she had a set of twins. Just something. Fun to know.) It's the Rikki Sweatshirt, and is on for half price right now, as are all her lovely patterns. (Can anyone say Rabbit Hole? After all, you have nothing to do right now. Lol)
Loved this vlog especially your top it fabulous, you have been very busy could you sew the crochet leaves on the corners of your QUILTED mats ? Have a great Christmas x.
I saw this video days ago and thought I commented on it. And no, I haven't finished wrapping presents yet but I am NOT stressed about it AT ALL. Okay, the candy cane necklace against the light background is the first thing I noticed. LOVE IT! And I remember the chef's set from last Christmas! Do the boys like the Swedish Chef??? I am so envious of your festive jewelry! I adore the color blocking and I adore x 248,692 the most excellent Christmas tree!!! And your Christmas outfit looks even better than ever! Question: do you follow a particular sports team? I'm just thinking of ways you can use all the pom poms #1 son makes over Christmas break! Whew! I am so glad you FINALLY gave us a crochet update! How much time - be honest - have you spent thinking of ways to use holly leaves?? ?
Hope it all came together in the end?? And no stress???? Hahah Swedish chef is just brilliant!!!! Glad you enjoyed the unsolicited crochet update 😉 Holly leaves have not found their Christmas destiny yet… but I don’t think there’s a statute of limitations on that, hoping inspiration will strike me over the next few days 😂 thansk as always !
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.🎄🎉
Happy Christmas! Thanks for watching
