Very nice video, Don. You are still the Zman savant. I hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving. The temps are dropping here in Southeastern Iowa, winter is not far away. Be safe.
Thanks so much, Dennis. I had thrown the micro GOAT for a short time on a trip about ten days before this excursion and it caught bass, BG and a Greenie. I was really lucky to find the BG (and Mr Bs) so cooperative so I could highlight this nifty new lure. Have a blessed Thanksgiving and hope winter doesn't arrive with a blizzard in your area. Don
Don, great show with the Z-Man Micro Goat. You and I have fished lots in the “green salad”, but what a day with all the blue gill loving the pink color! Nice basket of fish and looking forward to seeing what else you find in that pond after winter. Happy Thanksgiving to you & Brenda. Hugs to Rudy “Toots” ,Leila “Grubs” and Winkie Do’s!❤️❤️
Thanks Sis. It surprises me that this little pond has such a nice population of fish. It reminds me of my friend Juanelo (from Ohio) and his pond....which was actually better because it not only had nice gills but also perch, bass and crappie. I'm sure you remember that his YT vids were about catching BGs and then cooking them with excellent recipes. I think L3 has a bigger BG population but they are generally around 8 to 8.5 inches. I have another new Z-man lure to test in the Christmas trees first chance I get. Blessings from our house to yours... xxxxxoo RTR 😮😅🦇🦇🦇 Don
Thanks, Mike. Thanksgiving was great here and hope yours was as well. These little bass and panfish are a lot of fun to catch. Those Micro GOATZ come in colors for every season and in this case that pink glow color was crazy hot. I usually use PB&J for soft plastics in warm water but have become a big fan of bubble gum color in the past few years. We have a smidge of snow arriving this weekend but no accumulation is in the forecast....yet. have a blessed week, Don
I hooked into something that was taking drag for a bit. I knew it wasnt a bass unless this was some world record bass lol... I was using an ultralight rod and 6lb test. Yep turned out to be a 12lb catfish using this lure...Philadelphia, PA..
Wow, great story Let's Go. Indeed those catfish, especially that size, are ferocious on an ultra light. Congrats on getting the monster in! I'm sure a lot of the swimming logs I've had on using micro finesse lures (and pulled or broke off) were big cats. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week. Don
Thanks so much Virgillio. This excursion was a lot of fun and the bluegill were quite sizeable. The common size of a bluegill is 7.5 inches and several of the ones I caught were over 9 inches with the largest measuring 10 inches. Have a blessed week, Don
Thanks so much for stopping in, Aneed, and I'm glad you enjoyed the show. The float tube I'm using let's me sit out of the water and insulated waders keep feet warm. It took me many years to become convinced that fish bite really well in cold water, too. Happy Thanksgiving, Don
Thanks for stopping by Boon-ie, much appreciated. I hear you on the great Pink-bubble gum color. The Coconut Ice Glow color is close and I just bought some Baby BallerZ and Curly Tail StreakZ in this color. It works really good for the Shad FryZ. Happy Thanksgiving, Don

You’re tougher than nails to be on that inflatable this time of year.
Great catches & thanks for the video, sir

Well hello there friend glad I can join you 1st lol
Hello PFF. This one is right down your alley.
Too bad they don't make the larger goatz in pink glow, one of my top producing color in my lifetime.
