Is the laptop compartment suspended?
Could you do a review on Bellroy classic tote please? I've been contemplating on buying the classic, tokyo or Melborne tote....
Yeah I think we did consider doing the Classic Tote. But from our experience so far of all 3 totes, - the Tokyo Tote is the best tote hands down.
Best organisation and also best feature inclusions.
Not sure if we're ever going to do a Classic Tote review (we'll see if enough people are interested in it) - but we rate the Tokyo Tote the best so far from Bellroy's tote offering.

is it rain/rain drops resistent ? great bag !!!!
The exterior fabric is Bellroy's venture-weave polyester, which is has some great water repellency. It'll help water bead off fairly well, but I'd say that things could get hairy if you get caught in a downpour. It'll hold up on the quick dash between cover to cover, but best to carry an umbrella if you're expecting heavy rain. Great bag nonetheless! :)

This looks like an incredibly well thought out bag for a tote! My only worry is if it might look a bit feminine with the thin straps, a bit too much like a handbag. What do you think? Are the other colour options better?

Hi, I'm looking for a bag that stores an iPad air and some A4 papers at the same time. Since I'm not a tall guy, I prefer a smaller bag instead, can you advise if the compact version meets my requirement? Thanks a lot!!
Go for it! Although the Tokyo Tote Compact is the scaled-down version of the Tokyo Tote, it still has surprising organization and flexibility. Its internal padded laptop sleeve can store devices up to 13”. Its size is perfect for smaller frames. Cheers!

@@v.ivian.p Hello Vivian. Yes, the Macbook air 2020 fits in the bag but I think you can't put too much in the bag because it will be so heavy on your shoulder.

how does the tokyo tote differ from bellroy’s classic tote?
The Tokyo tote has much more organisation capabilities and feature inclusions (such as the pop out side pockets) and it also zips up completely (which the classic cannot).
We tend to like more vertically shaped totes than horizontally shaped ones. The Tokyo Tote seems to be a much more refined tote with all the things we look for in one.

Would this fit the Macbook Pro 14?
Hi there! It best fits 13" devices. The new MBP will not fit. - Prikee
From my experience, the MacBook Pro 14 can definitely fit in the 13inch laptop compartment of the Tokyo Tote (Compact 12L), but it is a snug fit and probably fits 13inch laptops the best. But the most important thing is that the bag DOES zip close nicely - but do note the bag gets heavy quickly. Therefore I would assume it can fit in the bigger 15L version of the Tokyo Totes 13inch laptop compartment, if not, the bags main compartment.
If you are considering another bag from Bellroy, the MacBook Pro 14 fits great and snuggly with the Classic Backpack (Compact) as it also accommodates a 13inch laptop compartment!
