Damn, already up to the Sanji death scene, huh? Sure gonna miss him. I do remember the episode where you guys were listing the kind of devil fruits you wanted to see. Curious if the the lightning devil fruit pans out. Some of these people have some pretty wild natural powers.
Fried him immediately!! Nami better do some CPR or something! That’ll get his heart going again! At least one of us has been waiting for a lightning DF!
If anything, Oda is very consistent in terms of his arc structure; Three act structure, with each act having somewhat of it's own 3 act structure....Probably why you guys could feel the existence of an inflection point/flow in the story. The scary thing about what Ganfall tells Nami and them is just how true to real life what he said was; Eneru claiming divine Godhood, using that as a means of sowing fear and a form of "division" in the populace. and subsequently using that as a form of populace control. It is a great and true way for Oda, a Japanese writer, to depict something mostly associated with former colonies in Africa and Latin America. Weaponising religion the way Eneru does truly was the way in which European colonisers used it, and the eefects still linger on. Great storytelling
We’ve definitely noticed that that three act style now! This is where things get really good! Always so eloquent!! We learn a lot about Oda from your guys’ insights and it’s always fascinating!
Wyper shooting cannonballs at Luffy multiple times despite seeing it doesn't work on him is an example of the anime stretching things out, even if it doesn't make sense😅 he immediately switches to a different attack in the manga after the first time.
@@DUAnime.Official yeah i don't mind when they normally stretch fights, but i wish they'd do it in a way that made sense or that wouldn't drastically change the way it went in the manga. Especially much later on, when they stretch eps out a lot more, the way they do it it sometimes makes it look like either a Strawhat or an enemy are much stronger or weaker (or dumber) in a fight than they canonically should be lol I'm not a "power scaler" at all, but sometimes it does bother me, like in Wyper's case, or Miss Doublefinger in her fight with Nami😅
The future Pirate King, Monkey D. Luffy once said, "minamina shima wa atakai. paina puru puru. attama pokapoka. aho baka!" 😂 His wisdom and vocal talent is unbelievable.
No idea why Luffy wants a musician, he said that it's because pirates sing, but he's such an amazing singer song writer himself!😎 Zoro getting lost will never cease being hilarious, and it's not even the last time in this arc lmao
Dude right?! I mean, those lyrics were masterfully written!! His sense of direction is always hilarious! Wonder how he manages to locate his bounties. Hahah
That weird ring coming out of Eneru's back is taken directly from the typical look of the Raijin in Japanese mythology. Shamelessly copied from google search: "Raijin (雷神) is a god of lightning, thunder and storms in the Shinto religion and in Japanese mythology. His name is derived from the Japanese words rai (雷, "thunder") and "god" or "kami" (神 shin)"

So yeah... no matter how great you become as a lyricist and musician, youre not beating Luffys "Aho Baka" song!
Get this man his Grammy award!
Luffy's singing is iconic in the OP community, glad you finally got to hear some of it😁
Definitely hitting the golden buzzer!!! That was awesome!!

Oh no way! Even something like that can kind of change your perspective of a character. Thanks for sharing that detail!

Lolol is it safe to look up the translation?!
Oh the transition is in the subs of course!! 🤪😂 LOLOLOL
@@DUAnime.Official it's hilarious considering how Luffy can be quite a dumbass himself, yet he's got the nards to call somebody stupid. lol

6:46 Zoro looking for the Snake's tail, gets lost and finds the head🫢
~a few moments later, "It's to the right" ~goes left❤😂
Dude when he goes left! LOLOLOLOL
Eneru's presence, anywhere, is scary..anything can flip his switch and things go brr🚬
Talk about a villain with some insane power to back it up!!
till this day Wyper is one of the most hated character in one piece community because of him we never heard the 3rd verse of aho baka 😤😤
And they never let Wyper live that one down!! We definitely need more singing from Luffy!
Wyper's nickname is "Ass". XD
LOLOLOL
Great video ❤❤❤
Thanks a ton!! Things are picking up!!
