This is a guy who was bullied into tennis by his abusive father. No motivation. Example of what can happen to someone who is carved into a sport as opposed to being naturally talented.

It's so obvious that Tomic was, is, and always will be the GOAT. From Rod Laver, Roy Emerson, and Jimmy Connors to Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic; they can only dream of being worthy of Tomic's shoelaces !
Like father like son. He's a spoiled brat and attitudes like his do not belong in this sport. Same goes for Kyrgios, which is a real shame as he is so talented.
Kyrgios has gotten better as tomic attitude gets progressively worse.
As recently as the USopen this year Kyrgios had a meltdown after he bumped into a linesman, and that was only a few weeks ago. He also smashed 3 rackets in a row in Cincinnati this year. He also went on a complete tirade on the umpire against Berdych at the Aussie open this year, and he was in the wrong. Watch the videos of these encounters. I'm sure I can dig up more from this year alone. He still has a long way to go to fix himself. Still one of the worst players on the tour attitude wise.
I'm just saying kyrgios attitude could get better but tomic is in too deep of a hole for anyone to ever like him again.

what's up with the new gen Aussie players? Previous modern greats like Hewitt, Cash and Rafter played with so much passion and desire.
Fifa King Also Laver and Rosewall were super good. They still contain talent but not the respect and love for the game like the older Aussies did.

I hope both Tomic and Kyrgios can clean up their acts. They are very talented. Even Fed had to find out the hard way that talent isnt the deciding factor in professional tennis. It takes work, and dedication. I would love to see them both in the top 10 in the near future and see some exciting matches!

Tomic was never going to be a world beater, his not athletic enough, he was a guy that could make Round 4 most majors year in year out and the odd deep run if the draw opened up but he was never going to win a Grand Slam...

I wish he would do more of those crazy forehand dropshots. Definitely one of the craziest shots in tennis. This guy has some serious talent. He approaches the game with a lot of creativity and variety of shots and pace. He is one of the more entertaining players to watch. He had to deal with a crazy overbearing father-coach which likely caused some motivational issues.
