Acheron is actually a variant of Raiden Mei from Hi3. The Penacony storyline has lots of Hi3 references and parrelels. It's definitely my favorite story in the game so far, which makes sense considering the writer also did the Elysian Realm in Hi3. Also, the April Fools video is a collab between Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai Star Rail's main mascots. The Homu King and Pompom. W video!
Since Izumo was parallel to Mu (both forged their own versions of the Divine Keys), that would make Acheron a direct expy of Dr. MEI. But a warrior instead. MEI succeeded in defeating the Kamigami, but failed in the embrace with the Cocoon, and then she got swallowed up by IX.
The villian of the April Fools short was Homu, a mascot character for HI3. His attacks were references to the moveset of Homu King, a boss version of the character.

About Sparkle.. I think the whole trailer was the reason why the Trailblazer (alongside Black Swan) unexpectedly met Acheron in the Dreamscape. Sparkle trapped Acheron in her illusions, but Acheron easily destroyed it by swinging her sword. Acheron said that she might've made Sparkle mad so she also ended up in the Dreamscape.
Since for some reason nobody mentioned it and you didn't pick up on it even reading the title, you did not see Acheron putting on makeup. It was Robin who featured in that commercial (you can even see her neck-wings clearly at the end). Between the producers picking a style that (possibly not coincidentally) happened to match her homeworld's fashion and Acheron hallucinating during most of her trailer (which is a good argument against "you should always use your strongest attacks", and Acheron's noted reluctance to even draw her sword in a fight attests to it), the confusion is understandable.
the Pom Pom fight basically reference 3 different series being Godzilla obviously
but also Ultraman and Super Sentai
Super Sentai being the original Power Ranger that have been running from 1975 till today
while Ultraman is a wacky giant space alien police that fight kaiju that have been running since 1966
Sparkle is just there to have fun and she really doesnt care what happens as long as she has her fun, and also quite unhinged
Acherons Trailer, the fight part was an inlusion from Sparkle thats why you see the Fish and the Mask.
The Makeup ad was voiced by Robins Voice Actor (which is seen as a character)
And for the Dance Cinematic.. well , Black swan tried to peek into the Memorys of Acheron, and she f*cked around and found out, she as the hunter became the prey thats what the symbolic meant with the Swan and the Snake, and the other Animals.
Acheron is Lorewise the (confirmed) strongest, welt is strong and i would say equal but its not confirmed because we havent seen him go all out.
Also Acheron and Welt are somewhat connected, or at least Welt thinks shes the same as the Mei in her Universe (others explained it already so i dont go deep there)
I dont know if you saw her Myriad Celestia Trailer from Acheron, if you havent, do it, its lore, and a loveletter to Honkai Impact 3rd Community because its in fair sight just references over references to Honkai Impact, but with the twist that Acheron got the Bad Ending

Do you know the funniest thing welt is the strongest character we have seen so far in the story lore wise (Acheron confirms this in the penacony story) but gameplay mechanics wise Acheron is the strongest lol and speculation are going around that Acheron real name is raiden Mei making her a clone of raiden from honkai impact but she is the Mei that lost her Kiana in her universe ( this is all fans speculation)

Nope the astral express crew including welt struggled against a character acheron one shot. She was just making a point that just because she has a weapon doesnt mean she's a danger to everyone
@FakeFrost1 Wdym? 🤨 I get that the Honkai community is split on who is stronger, but nothing said was misinformation. All we have to base scaling off of is character feats and statements. As it stands now, Welt has better feats and statements involving his prime. And even though he is no longer in his prime, he still carries his Divine Key, Star of Eden. A weapon made from the core of a dead Herrscher that in PE destroyed a continent using its authority to create a blackhole. That same power Welt can now use even with his Herrscher of Reason authority because the core of the weapon belongs to the Herrscher of Earth/Stars. The weapon had been shown to mess with dimensions, create them, slow time, mess with gravity, and create functional blackholes with an event horizon and all. Although he is an ex god, he still retains some of that power. And the Star of Eden is very OP in lore. I can see why current Welt might be debatable to some, but Prime Welt destroys her with ease. But even current Welt I would put above her because of Star of Eden. Take that away, and all he has is 1% of his Herrscher authority, and Acheron would win with no difficulty.
@MrWizardjr9 Bruh. Welt has been holding his power back since the very beginning of the game. Don't forget he one-tapped the Trailblazer when the Stelleron was about to go off casually. Adventurine threatened them all, saying he would use the Stelleron to kill them, which wouldn't have worked even if it did go off because of Welt and Acheron being there. And later on, he admits that even he couldn't pull that off. Welt is so far above Adventurine that comparing the two is laughable. The dude is stronger than a Doomsday Beast, and that's a planetary threat. Adventurine is barely city level at best. Welt wouldn't even need to try. But because of plot reasons, it was Acheron's time to shine. I'm sure Welt will get a similar moment in the future. My guess is Hoyoverse is saving that for something big like a self-sacrifice or protecting Himeko from a large threat of sorts. Only time will tell.
