So bigger one circulates stronger but nano hits target faster... they must be using a stronger heating element. Why do you say the bigger is better, Guga?
Thanks for the review. I received my Nano 2 days ago. So far I like it, a lot. Another benefit not directly annotated in this review, portability. I frequently travel and end up being designated "chef" at destination. I believe it will pack and travel easier than other models I have carted around.
I like this review. I am considering purchasing a Sous Vide circulator, having not used one before, and am new to this technology. Thank you. I like your style.
You made such a great video that you convinced me to buy it yesterday and receive it today! I'm a big fan of your channel for a long time! Keep it up, congratulations!!!
I have never sous vide before but after watching your truly tantalizing videos I had to buy the Anova Nano. Bluetooth is a great feature too. I just finished unboxing it. I had to come to my favorite foodie channel and blab about it. Today Sept. 2020 Amazon sells it for $129 and so does my local Kohls for the same price. I used $50 in Kohls Cash to buy it so I saved a lot. I plan to test it out with salmon filets and some shrimp with corn on the cob and potato. Thanks for your review!
Nice simple review. This would be an EXCELLENT beginner unit especially at such a low price. I won't need one of these since I already have the Inova Wifi but I was very much looking forward to the review. Nicely done! Can't wait to see the video of your first cook with it.
wow, very smooth and cool production value on the review... nice background music...also, you corrected my mistake on being able to power off with button... sorry to the folks for my mistake...
Guga this was an excellent review! I find myself always referring people to "Sous Vide Everything" to learn more about sous vide cooking. This video is another example of why I do so. Thanks!
Guga,. I am a newbie to sous vide and used the nano to cook up picanha and carrots; which were both excellent!!!! This was my first cook!!! I got into sous vide after subbing to your channel. Love it!!!! Thanks for continuing to make great vids and for your honest opinions. Hello to the guys!!!
And bought one, was looking at this the other day and almost bought it but seeing this pushed me over the edge it will be a nice addition to my normal Anova.
Thanks Guga! You sure answered all my questions, and even those I didn’t think I had until you covered them (like will it work through two walls in between). Great video!
Another great video. Thank you. I see that there is now a new Anova (2019) Precision Cooker. The tech specs look the same, except for power: 750W (Nano) vs. 1000W (Anova 2019) 2019, which now also has an adjustable & detachable clamp. I'm guessing for those looking at the new unit, this video would give some good insight without having you do a whole new review.
Peter Griffin voice?. Nice. 😜😜😜😜 PS: You rock dude. I just found your work and, man, I've been watching your videos (both channels) non-stop all weekend. This is one of the most enjoyable stuff ever. Keep it up!!!
I got mine a few days ago and finally tried it last night. Comparing it with my existing Anova (Bluetooth). A few observations: 1. Because it is shorter and the position of the clip, in my Kitchen Aid tub I need MORE water than with my original Anova 2 to get above minimum. 2. it seemed to heat the water faster 3. It seems to have a lower minimum temperature. We tend to lower the temp to 115-117 after a cook but this machine wouldn't do it. Perhaps the water had dropped below minimum? I will try again next time. 4. I like the size and integrated clip. 5. The -/+ buttons are less convenient, slower to adjust than the wheel. 6. The new sounds are nice. I never found bluetooth reliable enough to be useful - the size of our house and my inability to sit still mean I am generally not close enough for Bluetooth to work. I have a thought of setting up a Raspberry Pi in my kitchen with an application to collect data from the Anova devices via Bluetooth. Maybe this fall or winter I'll play with that (I did a proof of concept a few months ago, I was able to connect and collect data from the Anova).
Guga I just ordered one! I got it for $90 bucks new! Can't wait! I got the Anova 900W Bluetooth/wifi as well. I can't wait for this lighter quieter version!
I had one of these on order cause the preorder was only 69.99, then something happened with production and was delayed and they offered a free upgrade to the Bluetooth model with 0 extra money. Damn right I upgraded and never looked back. Then I found you some after and binged all your videos.
Just bought this due to it being on sale for $65 and I can't wait to try it out on some juicy steaks. Thanks for giving me the confidence to explore this new area of cooking!
Guga, great review. I'm buying it for the reasons you described for when I need something to make carrots or potatoes and my big anova is being used. Good job !
Well done! I love the fact that there is competition among the various sous vide makers. Better tech, less money, gotta love it! Why do you say the Big Brother is clearly superior? By what criteria?
I bought my Anova 6 months ago without WiFi. I use it a lot. I have never encountered a situation where I thought, “Darn, I wish I had gotten WiFi.” Not sure if the new one comes without WiFi but if it does, I would recommend the non-WiFi version.
That video was ....... nice.
Jay B ... you beat me to it 😊
All I can say is... Yes
Judging by how laid back your other videos are I didn't expect such a to-the-point review.
Amazing.
Exactly what I thought too.
Very professional, I don't even have any questions.
Guga, I love this style of review!!
Its very short, no bullshit , to-the-point review.
Would love to see more like this in the future!
Enough with the bullshit talk
So bigger one circulates stronger but nano hits target faster... they must be using a stronger heating element.
Why do you say the bigger is better, Guga?
Now I just want to hear Guga say "and that's no bullshit everybody"
Love this style of review. Super well edited
This video is so well made. Thanks for the amazing content
Amazing style of review! Really enjoy your videos. I Wish life was like this.
Holy crap best product review I have ever seen. Honest, and answered questions I didn’t even know I had.
Love the review style! No fluff, punchy and super informative - I'm buying one of these this week too!
Wish every review on TH-cam was like this. Great job
You were on volts not watts for the after it heats up part.
Thanks for the review. I received my Nano 2 days ago. So far I like it, a lot. Another benefit not directly annotated in this review, portability. I frequently travel and end up being designated "chef" at destination. I believe it will pack and travel easier than other models I have carted around.
The voiceover was hysterical, and covers an astonishing amount of comparison points in a very short amount of time.
So glad you did a review on this, guga. You’re the guy I trust when it comes to sous vide
I wish all reviews were quik and to the point like this one. Fantastic job!
My heart sank when I saw you reach inside water to grab an electrical item. Glad you were ok!
"So I have to touch it for you" made me laugh. NICE!
This is such a refreshing style of review video. Very straight forward, very informative, a no-nonsense. Well done!
Best review video I've seen in a long time. I love the beginning the most
I like this review. I am considering purchasing a Sous Vide circulator, having not used one before, and am new to this technology. Thank you. I like your style.

As usual, your tests look very serious and complete, thanks!

I absolutely love your voice in this video. An amazing tech review!
wow, very smooth and cool production value on the review... nice background music...also, you corrected my mistake on being able to power off with button... sorry to the folks for my mistake...

Top notch review!! I love how you get right to each point with out faffing about.

I love the smooth type talk in the beginning
Guga this was an excellent review! I find myself always referring people to "Sous Vide Everything" to learn more about sous vide cooking. This video is another example of why I do so. Thanks!

This is how all reviews should be. No bullshit
I don't usually comment on review videos, but this review was done so damn well. Great review man! Keep it up!
All tech reviews should be like this.
This was the most helpful review, thank you so much!
And bought one, was looking at this the other day and almost bought it but seeing this pushed me over the edge it will be a nice addition to my normal Anova.
Bust bought mine for Christmas! So excited!
Had been looking for info on this - then poof - you posted a review. Happy to say mine came last week!
Love it! Thanks for trying it out Guga!
Mine just arrived today. Excited to see what new features this model has.

Watching a product review for a product I already own... Nice.
You deserve a like for this kind of review
damn.. the most intense and dramatic, action packed, sexy and cinematic introduction for a sous vide equipment.. i want one.
One of the things I like about the Joule is the fact that it's magnetic, so it can sit inside any size metal pot.
In the video at 2:21 you said the power consumption when warmed up is at 118, but that is the wall voltage.
Do you have any information about power consumption?
New video? Nice. Is it good? Yes.
Nice vid! Thanks for the review
Your videos is the shit man. Love watching your channels. Especially the Koji rice taste test.
Peter Griffin voice?. Nice. 😜😜😜😜
PS: You rock dude. I just found your work and, man, I've been watching your videos (both channels) non-stop all weekend. This is one of the most enjoyable stuff ever. Keep it up!!!
5:30 WHY do you say the big one is better?? Other than this, I liked the video style a lot: minimal chat, just info, and very clear. Thanks!

We’re you ever able to get that working? I’d like a Homebridge or home assistant app as well
just use your pre-existing security cam and do OCR off the readout, that's what I do
@@lqr824 LOL that's awesome. I prefer no cameras inside the house, but fun solution.
this is how you properly review something i like it
Guga I just ordered one! I got it for $90 bucks new! Can't wait! I got the Anova 900W Bluetooth/wifi as well. I can't wait for this lighter quieter version!
That 118 reading on your 'killowatt' meter was the voltage reading, not the wattage...Unless I'm not squinting hard enough. :)
Peace.

Thanks for the review Guga! I shared it on my Facebook group and page also!
Thanks brother.
Just bought this due to it being on sale for $65 and I can't wait to try it out on some juicy steaks. Thanks for giving me the confidence to explore this new area of cooking!
Thank you for this video, answers all my questions. greatly appreciated!
Great review.
I can't wait for it to be available outside the US.
Great content, love your channel.
Thanks for answering my questions!
Great review, directly to the point too, thanks!
Love the review and the serious voice! Hahaha
Awesome testing! Thank you!
This is the most dramatic/ominous review I've sen for a sous vide machine.
This one seems like a good gift for someone who doesn't know about sous vide yet
Great job straight to the point and very professional, looks like you put a lot of time into this rlgreat job keep it up.
Wish you talked more about the differences between the two and what occasions would I want to use either.
Guga, great review. I'm buying it for the reasons you described for when I need something to make carrots or potatoes and my big anova is being used. Good job !
Thanks Guga!! You answered my questions!
Good job as always
Bought it just because of your review!
Well done, a great comparison
