I do agree, I wish they were two separate animatronics (like not only one can be present at a time). I find them both amazing characters and love their character designs. It was really sad that we didn’t get too much of them but maybe it’s for the best. After all, at least we didn’t get a destroyed version of them. (I don’t ship them for context.)

For the ones that think that they are the same robot, if u pay attention to their hands, Sunrise has 5 fingers and Moondrop only 4, it can't be only cuz they wantted to cuz the point is that they both should have the same type of body and structure but different looking, so its not possible for em to be the same animatronic/robot. ^^ they are not related in any way btw, beside it wouldn't really matter, cuz they are robots and couldn't have a family or be related by "blood", just created w the same matereals or just for the show..
