Nah, I honestly wouldn't call Bastille "one of the better mainstream bands these days" just because "Pompeii" or "Things we lost in the Fire" are slowly getting overplayed on the radio. I'd simply call them one of the best (indie live) bands these days! :) Do you know why? Because you'll never hear songs like "The Draw" or "Laughter Lines" on the radio. They're great but not "trendy" enough. Maybe an electro-house remix of them or so... :D

I saw Bastille live in May last year, before I even knew who they were properly, when they were a supporting act for Muse's stadium tour. I fell in love straight away. Since then, I've listened to them day in, day out and they are bloody amazing. There's nothing better than when artists have good recording voices as well as being amazing live. Dan's come so far since starting the band compared to when he was a soloist, producing things like Alchemy...so glad he started up Bastille though
