    Climbing is an action-packed mix of strength, technique and brains that takes you steeply upwards - whether on rock faces or artificial climbing walls. The sport requires full concentration, precise movements and plenty of muscle power. Climbing has been competing at the Olympic Games since 2020 and inspires with three disciplines: speed (who is the fastest to the top?), bouldering (difficult, short routes without a rope) and lead (how far can you get in a given time?). The athletes put on spectacular shows and push themselves to their limits - climbing is definitely one of the most exciting new Olympic sports!
