As a three time father let me tell you, ole Luke was playing this one at a disadvantage. He's a new dad so there is NO WAY he's been getting much sleep. Congrats on the new addition Luke! Have fun brother.
Idea for a Jackbox drinking game. Drink when: Ellen makes a dirty joke, Andy laughs at his own joke, Luke self deprecates his joke, Mike finishes writing first and says "easy", Jane dancing adorably to the Jackbox music.
My favourite sound in the world is hearing one of them making the weird smothered laugh they all do when they amuse themselves with their own jokes. It’s genuinely just the most wholesome sound:)
Honestly delighted whenever Andy chuckles at his own jokes. What can I say, I find it highly relatable; at least if I'm laughing it means *someone* is finding my jokes funny ; )
The best dad joke I've ever dropped was my boss was mad because he needed to get a key cut I asked if the places was closed because of covid he said yeah and I said that's weird I could have swore they were key workers... I'll see myself out

I like how this Quiplash isn't set in a hellish circus tent singularity. I feel considerably less insane than I did by the end of the Quiplash 3 stream.
Gotta love how in the beginning, after the first or second time Jane 'forgets' to vote, she promised she would remember from then on, and then she proceeds to entirely STOP VOTING!
Hey oxbox , any chance next time you stream someone can read out the questions and answers for those who are sight impaired and for those of who are listening to these streams while they do something else (im listening while drawing) ♡ Also this was great, its lovely to see luke back and I still love the random thinking sounds Jane makes haha
Oh, seconded! My understanding is that reading out the questions helps with accessibility as well as giving the option of multitasking, so it would be lovely for that to be a more consistent feature if possible :) (I like to have Oxboxtra on when I draw sometimes too!)
Ellen, the quarterback is the person responsible for what happens during the play. Usually the guy that throws the ball or hands it off. The center or snapper is the lineman that starts the play by hiking the ball through his legs to the quarterback...but I loved your explanation.
I can't believe it took me a good 10 minutes to realize "four more beers" was a play on "four more years", the term limit for a United States President. Congrats Mike, you outsmarted me on that one.
Not so much the term limit as a thing people chant/say at events supporting an incumbent president. *That* is referencing the term limit, but the joke only really works properly if you get that shouting "Four more years! Four more years!" is a thing. Which is kind of ubiquitous enough knowledge that I can think of a ton of children's shows that used it for like, Student Council election episodes and the like. But, I guess, only in the American media dominated side of the anglosphere.
I thought Luke’s Phantom of the Opera answer was great, but I also thought he was implying the Phantom himself would benefit from one of those sunlamps for seasonal depression.

My uncle is a truck driver that delivers the trucks themselves, he usually has another truck to pick up to take somewhere else, so he goes from place to place before eventually coming home. That or he catches a flight home 😂
On the Joke Boat stream, I made a comment that that stream showed Luke was the purest soul of the 5 of them. After this stream, I may have to reassess that view after his answer on a certain prompt.
That Luke took Mike's crown with a "plently" use is summarizing how life just doesn't like it when Mike makes it reign. Also, the amount of times so many of them just flat out forgot to vote is dire. ...oh, also they definitely need to go with a custom prompt game in one of these.
