Legal heir certificate is provided by the revenue officer of the district to identify the legal heirs of a deceased. However, a succession certificate is provided by a civil court to the legal heirs of the deceased.

I wanted to know that, if a Hindu lady got property from her father in-law. Her husband is alive, she has 1 unmarried and 1 married daughers and no son. She died in December 2019 without making a will.
Question is, Who have right in her property?
1. Only unmarried daughter
2. Unmarried daughter and husband
3. Unmarried and married daughters both
4. All dauthers and husband
5. Only husband

My Father Name is Sadik Ahmed S/O:- Sayed Uddin Ahmed but in death certificate his name is mentioned as Saddique uddin Ahmed S/O Sayed Uddin Ahmed , this name is not wrong in two lands documents his name is available as Sadik Ahmed and one land document his name is mentioned as Saddique Uddin Ahmed.This is create problem for us when I apply for Next of Kin(S) certificate.
-In 1975 voter list his name is Sadik Ahmed.(Sayed Uddin Ahmed)
-In 1987 Voter list his name is Sadik Ahmed.
-In All his Education documents His name is Sadique Uddin Ahmed .
-In 2001 to 2014 Voter list his name is mentioned as Saddique Uddin Ahmed.
- In Property Tax receipt his Name is mentioned as Saddique Uddin Ahmed.
-In my all documents his name is available as Sadik Ahmed and my mother's voter id his name is mentioned as Saddik Uddin Ahmed
Kindly give a solution.
Please correct yourself: Succession certificate is not granted in relation to all movable assets but just debts and securities. You have not cared to read the Indian Succession Act it would appear. There are judicial pronouncements clarifying that for everything including movable assets like jewellery Letters of Administration are needed. Take this video down and correct yourself.

The example of car transfer by way of heirship certificate is also wrong.. because car is moveble propery.. Heirship certificate can be use only for immovable property.. Where succession certificate is use for Moveble properties, like securities, gold, fixed deposits etc. And more importantly the heirship certificate can be issued by court of law as well.
I got my bike transferred using Legal Heir Certificate.
