I have learned all this knowledge from my experience beacuse when i started coding journey, i was watching tutorials for almost 6 months.... and when i started to build a project from scratch by following documentation only.. then i have realized .... Muje to ghantaa kuch bhi nahi Aataa.. Now i feel i wasted my 6 months..
1. Learn how to learn 2. Do spaced repetition 3. For a self taught developer tutorials are must you just cant run away from it Watch tutorials while coding Code it 3 times nvm code it until you have learnt it you dont have to look at this code for building same thing 4. Come back after some time delete it all redo with some changes to make it your own

This video made me realise how many years of time and energy I've wasted doing the wrong things. Thank you, I'm in my first year currently, coding ever since I was 12-13 years old. Par itne saalo mein kabhi bhi progress feel nahi hua. Kabhi apne aap ko andar se skilled, capable nahi keh saka. I WAS STUCK IN TUTORIAL HELL FOR ALL THIS TIME. THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME OUT OF THIS TRAP. TAKEAWAYS 1. KAM SEEKHO, ACCHA SEEKHO 2. APPLY KNOWLEDGE REPEATEDLY (ZOMATO KA IMDB BANAO, TRIPADVISOR BANAO etc)
Huge respect for you sir. And I have actually realised this on my own because I was also doing the same mistake. By watching your opinions, Now I have assurance that I am on the right path, learn relevant things and understand what you want to become.
I was also stuck in tutorial hell but after creating 4 features in 20 days on job I've now come out of it 😂. I still do tutorials, I'm currently doing one on .NET microservices, but I just don't copy stuff. Whenever I see something new I check out the docs and learn it properly. Very slow and ardouous process but it helps than blindly copying stuff
Bhaiya mein tutorial se jo bhi sikhta hu usko hamesha code krke github ke repo mein push krta hu uske saath hi chhote mote projects bhi krta rheta hu 🥲 chalo bahut kuch janne ko mila, Sukriya bhaiya 🚀♥️
Such an inspiring talk! It's amazing how one person's words can change your perspective and set you on the right track. This speaker deserves all the appreciation😍
Most honest video about tutorials my brother also said me the same thing but at the time I neglected his advice later when I started to feel like I'm just copying everything from the tutorial I started learning on my own and searching things which I encountered as a barrier in my webdev journey, still I'm learning and trying to be better in webdev every single day, so in my opinion guys whatever tanay sir has said its totally true just learn things on your own and built something unique which other individuals haven't even thought of Best of luck all my webdev pals👍
Muze yuh lagta hai ki me bhi tutorial hell me fas chuka hu but ab chije samaz aa gayi hai toh chat gpt ki sahayyata se basic backend likh leta hu...........
I memorized react concepts, passed the interview and even got the internship, but at the end I'm learning it from scratch again to complete my tasks😂 I'd suggest, if someone is in learning stage, learn a concept implement it for multiple times in different ways ,only then consider it completed.
This is this best video of Tanay Sir, U shared very relateable problems majority of the learners are facing ! LOVE FROM PAKISTAN 💚 and yeah sense of humour is on another level 😂😂
Absolutely genuine information.....I still facing this problem with learning tutorial for multiple tech just to add keywords in resume in reality I don't have good command any of these tech... tutorial just helping to understand concept.....after learn the concept apply by himself it's actually learning 🙂
@Tanay used to follow your videos regularly, and I want to express my gratitude for your explanations on concepts such as Deep Work, avoiding distractions like phones while working (TAR), deliberate practice, cornerstone habits, and your stance against the hustle culture. Your ability to explain these concepts in simple terms and emphasize the importance of consistent practice is truly inspiring. As you mentioned, web development has a significant demand, especially in front-end technologies like React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. I'm thrilled to share that I've secured a job with a 50% pay increase. Thank you very much! God bless you and your family. Please continue to inspire millions of people like me. :)
Maine 6 ghante lagakar ek TH-cam tutorial se Ecommerce project banaya tha. Wo banane me mujhe 10 din lag gaye, har din coding karne ke baad use traceback karta tha aur usse concepts mujhe yaad ho gaye, mujhe pehle is domain me ussi project se mila as a nodejs developer
this video is 100% related to me. But I changed that myself long time ago. It's been a couple of months that I started react and since then I am mostly focused on projects, but instead of just copying/pasting I am focusing on implementing stuff by myself wherever I can even if I had to go back to refer old tutorial because it's almost impossible to remember stuff at first couple of tries for me. Of course, for new and advanced stuff you will have to copy/paste but referring by yourself next time rather than copy pasting every time is the right way. But I find myself often demotivated while doing those long tutorials, doubting that i might just be wasting time or if i am even learning anything, or will things workout later.
