Hi All my subscribers, Please watch this tutorial video for making a cricket bowling machine from an old hoverboard. I hope you will all like this video. Thank you
Hii , these two motor controllers ARE NOT THE ONES THAT WERE INSIDE THE HOVER BOARD , they are from amazon …. can we use the ones that come inside the hoverboard ? Thank you
I think the original controller is programmed to use the pressure sensor onboarded with the hoverboard. To break the original board to accommodate hall sensing would lead to a jail break of the board. I am not sure how to do it.
Though i dint do the detailed research yet but my guess is the same setup with a bigger gap between the wheels and increase the height of mount point from the wooden base. These two change can hold a soccer ball and then regulate speed from the knob. If you could use the hoverboard wheel which has a power rating of 350w would produce more power to through the soccer ball. Hope this helps. Thanks
oh i appreciate you feedback. i assume i can get a cheap second hand board and just play with the the motors and the hardware. you are invite for a coffee:) all the best from Hungary
Sorry if the code link not present. I have used below code for a sweep style of servo control #include Servo myservo; // create servo object to control a servo // twelve servo objects can be created on most boards int pos = 0; // variable to store the servo position void setup() { myservo.attach(9); // attaches the servo on pin 9 to the servo object } void loop() { for (pos = 0; pos = 0; pos -= 1) { // goes from 180 degrees to 0 degrees myservo.write(pos); // tell servo to go to position in variable 'pos' delay(15); // waits 15ms for the servo to reach the position } }
You can buy a used hoverboard to get two wheels easily. Even if the hoverboard does not work the hub motor wheels should be good. New one will cost you 13k roughly www.flipkart.com/tygatec-eco-bluetooth-music-speaker-hover-board-rgb-led-light-electric-drifting-self-balance-wheel-black-hoverboard-scooter/p/itmf9hgfhpjvf4sf?pid=SCOF9GCVYZ6GNQNJ&lid=LSTSCOF9GCVYZ6GNQNJVOQ7YB&marketplace=FLIPKART&pageUID=1711632760168

Currenntly it’s an experiment model not for sale. Thanks for the inquiry
Great stuff. Thanks for posting. How can I scale this to launch a basketball?
Mostly by increasing the space between the two wheels and the bottom as well
At 9:46 you mention about an upload for code and parts. I camt see it all in the description

}
All you need to control the timing of start and stop
@@makersmind thank you kind sir!

Sir, when I set the speed of the rotation to max , it heats up. Why it's happening and how to stop it.
Thanks for reaching out. If supplied voltage is within the rated spec it should not heat up. Please post a picture of your setup.
