You should have everyone start at a landmark. I noticed that in the video, everyone is starting at various points, giving some an advantage that deems them "faster" than they actually are, simply because they had less distance to travel. Some of them like Spino even run away from the camera, which makes them going to a point A to point B pretty much pointless since they aren't heading in a straight line.
sarco has so much less run stamina that it usually balances it out, pycno could probably charge for an emergency escape if it got ambushed and sarco would ruin its chances trying to chase one far. not to mention other comments are saying it should actually be a little faster
@@ricker4394 That does make sense because I was playing Speed deinonychus with thin hide equipped and it was the same speed as an old normal deinonychus from the past. I did suspect a nerf in it’s speed, then I saw your reply. Overall I think it needed a nerf really bad, because it was practically the ultimate troll dino before. Now I’ve been a ++speed allo and chased down some pretty speedy creatures, such as the alioramus.

Could you do one that takes only speed builds into consideration. With stamina drain. What I mean is which Dino can outrun the chase. For example rex walks slower than sarco but sarco has less running stamina. Can rex eventually outrun sarco taking only few bites. (Consider stamina regen while walking) I'm Very interested but playing solo and having very limited time can't do testing myself. Would be very helpful. PS no animation needed just raw number or something. Good video btw

unless there was a recent rework of dino stats, this doesn't look right at all to the in game stats. More so, are all the dinos here really running a straight forward exact same path? And assuming all standard balance build. Otherwise Allo, conc, cerato, deinochyus, meg, should be running same speed, only difference should be stam pool regen and drain. Also only referring the 1100 speed dinos in this case. Carno/Pycno From what I could find though should be 1120 speed.
One thing I’ve noticed is that different Dino’s accelerate differently as well. Some get up to speed a lot quicker than others, and this can affect a race even if they have similar top speeds. Struthi, for example, accelerates like an overloaded F-150 but once it gets up to speed nothing can catch it. Those few seconds can mean the difference between getting away and being something’s lunch, especially against bleeders and venomous carnis.
just as clarification, these speeds aren't 100% accurate, you can tell with some dinosaurs running off into the distance, whilst others are running in a straight line, and others are further ahead than others at the start of the race, this only gives a VERY rough idea of the speeds, nothing exact
