I can't follow, each time I try an offset of 2" (1/4" tubing) it ends up being like 2 5/16". Frustration is high!!! I can bend electrical EMT in my sleep but this is far more complicated it seems.
With your straight piece of tube, mark your first bend, then from that mark, measure 2 13/16s and mark. Now you can put your marks on the zero of the bender or on the 45 on the bender (if it has it). If you bend on 0 for the first bend, you have to bend on zero for the second, same with the 45. Bend to 45 degrees and check your tube with the 45 side of an adjustable square. Bend to 45 on second mark and check the angle. Now you will have a 2" offset.
t my offsets were always a little out and i wasnt sure why until i watched your video , wasnt subtracting the bend gain . thanks !

The travel is 2 13/16 but what about the loss ( 13/16) do I have to mark my tube for the loss ?
