I have this one. I don’t use it often, as I don’t like carrying it, and other people accompanying me when I go out don’t like to carry it around either. It is really useful but I wish they made it foldable so that you can put it in a smaller bag. Using carbon fibre to make it lighter might also be a good idea. I think making it foldable or having the legs pop out would should be the next evolution and if they can make it out of carbon fibre would be excellent. The Series 2 is easy to open but I think the mechanism of the original Ta Da chair is much better. I think this is useful for people who can carry this stick around. It just becomes an extra thing to take along with you, and since I have back problems, even the light weight of this can sometimes be difficult to bear, and though others might sometimes carry it for me, it is far from ideal. This is why they should also make one that could be struck to put inside a rucksack because of someone is carrying a bag already, they might not mind putting in a lightweight chair with them. For example, the Kmina Pro carbon fibre chair is way lighter and though the Ta Da Chair series 2 is very well built, and looks better (in my opinion), the Kmina is easier to use, and is very lightweight so I can actually carry that in its carry case if I need to. I am not knocking it because the Ta da Chair still works better as a walking stick. It doesn’t have an ugly seat sticking out and its compactness makes it a great walking stick for those who rely on a stick and take one out with them anyway. For those people, there probably is no better option. Either way, a very good product, and I hope they continue to make them!
