Hi ullidaon954, I don't trade with HFT EAs very often. Most EAs will have a high-risk option, which often means HFT. I am a more cautious trader and prefer low to mid-risk settings, lowering the frequency of trades opening, protecting my capital more

Hi miratangtangit, in the video, I clearly showed how I select the best performing EA in current market conditions. Of course, all EAs go through profitable and unprofitable periods. It's your job to monitor them, and select the best current performer. That's why I gave you 10 here.

Hi pekto..first of all thanks for the free EA. I started using it and hopefully it will be profitable. I use the EA that ends in 004 and 007 as per your advised. I just have a few question, Do I set my trades using M15 only or it also works in other timeframes? Thanks again
It was created using historical data for M15, so it's designed for that timeframe. However, you can install on other timeframes, and maybe you'll get good results :-). Run a backtest on the timeframe you want to use it on to get an idea of the performance there.

Hi yassinaidari8837, if you're running the entire portfolio EA, I'd stick to 0.1. If you're only running 1 or 2 or 3, you can increase it slightly, to 0.2 or 0.3, then you can increase it in proportion to your account size increasing.
Thanks for sharing the source code of your EA. Works nice on EURUSD on 15M chart. I also tried 5M and 30M timeframe but results are worse. Did you test it on other currencies? Does this require to change the settings of the signals? I made small adjustments to individually turn on/off the signals.
Hi Kaspricci, the EAs are created for specific assets and timeframes using the historical data for the asset and time frame. To create EAs for different assets or time frames, you'll need to use the historical data from those. In the FTMO pack, there are 7 EAs for 7 currency pairs, as well as Gold. Although the strategies are all very similar, they've each been optimised and set up for their respective assets and time frames.

Could you implement two features: The first is the trader sets who strategy will be used and the second is about trailing stop. I’m using your EA and in various cases if this feature there was the profit would be high.

H paulopraxedes193, we tested various SL parameters and types, and the current best performance is with the settings included. I cannot teach you how to code, because I don't know how :-) We use EA Studio to created and backtest the strategies. Using the software, you can do it easily. Nice one petko, i'll be running the portfolio EA this week and testing it like you've shown, are you using it live yourself? Edit: had it running on M15 EURUSD since 6am this morning and no trades opened on MT4?
Hi zamiadams4343, market conditions will dictate how often trades open. But, you can run a backtest to get an idea of how many trades open on average. Although it doesn't guarantee future performance, it will give you an idea of how active the EA was in the past.

Hi Petko. Awesome content as always. I heard that EAs don't run when your computer is turned off. Is that true? I have just installed my first EA on a demo account but I am planning to get the waka waka soon if I can figure this whole thing out. So if the EA actually doesn't run when the computer is off, can I solve this problem by keeping MT4 app open and running on my phone? I also heard of VPSs but I am not sure if thats really necessary, it would be nice if you could confirm.
Hi bencebela5653. Your computer needs to be on with the platform connected to the internet all the time for the EAs to work. Running MT4 on your phone won't help. The actual platform where the EA is installed needs to be connected to the broker's server. If you cannot keep your computer on and connected all the time, the best solution will be a VPS. Hi sergiofpo, a comprehensive pdf is included with every FTMO robot download. The new version 5 also has many set files for each asset and account size to make things even easier. The EA attaches to a chart like any other, and there are many videos on the channel showing this. You can also check out this video, where I describe the process I use to pass challenges with the robot, both with a scaling up system and leaving the EAs to trade without scaling up, as well as managing the 7. (now 8)

I dont know how you keep up with all of the accounts / strategies ( and info in between ). I can barely keep up with 4 Broker Accts , 3 prop firm accts , 1 Darwinex , 1 MT4 and 3 MT5 accts. non of the brokers you have listed on your site work in the USA, is there away to get around this?
Hi brandonrobinson3834, most brokers don't work with US citizens or residents, unfortunately. There are a few, however we don't personally use them and as such, cannot recommend any.

Hi ososaam, I have never come across them, so I can't say for sure. Check their website, they should have their regulator listed near the bottom. If there's no regulator listed, they could be a scam broker. If they do have a regulator listed, check the regulator's website to make sure they're really a member

Hi ososaam, check the regulators website to confirm they are registered. Then, open a demo or very small live account and test them thoroughly before risking your money.
how do I disable some of the strategys in mt4?

Hi naxxsty8786, it will work the same in both MT4 and MT5. Simply double click on the MQL4 strategy file in the Experts folder and it will open in MetaEditor, where you make the changes using the forward slashes
@@PetkoAleksandrov I mean that the code looks different i tried somthing but it didnt work I also got it on mt5 but on mt4 its a different story
@@naxxsty8786double forward slash will convert code to "comment" on both versions. So unless you are trying to copy entire code from one to the other, simply "disabling" code lines should work in the exact same way. If you issue isn't related to disabling code, but rather "enabling" code that's not working, it's because you're using code that's not actually meant for the platform you're working with. It should work the same as the video states.

Hi Klarkman, you cannot limit the number of trades being opened in a day. When conditions are right, trades will open until you remove the EA or disable auto trading. However, if you have some coding skills, you can try yourself, as the source code is included in the download.

Hi, I cannot make the changes for 4 and 7 on the MT4. I double click on the experts on the ea and doesn't show the source. How van i fix it pls?
Hi revdmed, make sure you have MetaEditor installed. It should have installed with the platform, but maybe something happened and it didn't. Also make sure the EAs are not set to Read Only in the file properties.

Hi revdmed, unfortunately we do not work on other user's EAs. But, as long as you have made the changes correctly, they will take effect. You won't see the changes on your platform, but you will see the magic number when trades are placed. Simply right click on the trading window under your charts, and select to see 'Comments'. You will then see the magic number of the strategy from the portfolio making the trades.

Everyone should know that these types of strategies are temporary when generating the Expert Advisor, it comes with a defined lifespan, this is due to the short training time but it gives very good results. I recommend it.
Hi TheKitoMC. Well, it depends on the historical data. The more you use, the better idea you get on the robustness. In addition, using in-sample and out-of-sample data also play a key role. But, the performance of any EA depends on market conditions, which is why we are constantly updating all EAs

What do u mean current market conditions the market is always the same
Hi nzshareman, the market is constantly changing. When we refer to market conditions, we're talking about price fluctuations, news that impacts asset strength, volatility, and general price movements

Hi user-wl6sl3iu4m, the robot will work on any MT4 and MT5 platform with most brokers. If it's not opening trads, please check and make sure you've installed it correctly and you have a smiley face in the top corner, or a hat if it's MT5

Mosy of Them don't make money from forex. They make money from TH-cam, that's why they always say you shouldn't skip the videos till the end.
