Great video however you whip through some basic key strokes making it a challenge for me to follow you. I'm very new to Lightburn so maybe this is not the video for someone like me, in the very early stages of learning the software. Had you taken a bit more time as you worked through the keystrokes, which I think was your intention, it would have been much more valuable for the beginner. I did get valuable information from this video, so thanks!

The laser cutter/engraver community is lucky to have you and your astonishing skills. I'm "chomping at the bit" to get your software and equally astonished at the rapid timeline you've established.
A trivial question... keyboard nudge done by arrow keys as it typical of these types of programs, yes? Is there a setting to change the interval? Perhaps a shift-arrow for smaller nudges?

I have been following your posts for quite some time now. They are super informative and clearly spoken. Thank you. What is the max thickness acrylic you have cut through? What was the process? Your video here demonstrates a 5 pass cut with 75% power on a K40 laser and I'm curious how much it can cut through.
    Thank you!

Good Show however one note ,You show on the screen the bot left as 0/0 ,when you show the k40 the 0/0 is at the top left so somewhere the axis are reversed ,I had the same problem with a pen plotter using GRBL and after reading up I realized I had to change the 0/0 location on my drawing app, Also once you change the 0/0 location on your lightburn you will not have to dance the laser head around to see where it going to cut as all you have to do is locate your design a couple mm from the 0/0 point and its good to go.

Is there a way to decrease the size of the step over for each pass? Video was great, but hate the way the laser filled in so that you can clearly see each step/pass.

Hello I really love your software but i cannot get it to communicate with my Ender3 Pro 3D Printer, I have it set up as GBRL laser comes on an off but no XYZ Control, do I need to do a firmware update on my printer to change it to Marlin, Sorry for asking question here I could not find any topics with ender 3 and Lightburn. If I can get it to work I will buy Software. thanks in Advance.

Is there a difference between casual user/DIY and commercial license cost? Reason for asking is seen the software listed on a website and it says " for GCode controllers (DIY / hobby)" Not sure what this means? Ether it means the controller is more of a hobby level or it means the software license is not meant for commercial use. I'm just trying to be sure before I buy.

Please check online to find out how to remove that useless clamp and panel so you can cut much bigger items, I normally cut material 8.5inch by 11.0 inch on a K-40 where I normally run K-40 Whispherer.

If you are planning to cut anything don’t buy that laser. My wife bought one to play around with. Cuts paper and that’s about it.

There's no question these videos are great but could you slow down on points where you change layers or create layers from one thing to another, I got lost here and was trying to replicate this project while watching. Great help though

We are working on revisiting some of the older videos on the channel. They are not meant to be followed in real time, but we are making them more concise and clearer to follow along with. That being said, pausing the video will still likely be needed.
