That conversation on the porch of the Little Switzerland was by far, one of the hardest ones to get through for me on this series. But it had to be said and I am so glad Shane had the guts to say it. She has been watching him die a little bit each day checking the Paris box and she cared for him. She had to make him see that his wife wasn't planning on coming back.
@@gail21185 I believe he had feelings for Shane from the moment he saw her at the post office in the pilot. When they met at the coffee kiosk I think they just had a "talk." But when he saw her at the post office and they began to work together - at that time she made more of an impact on him. :)
That was a very touching Episode of SSD Shane and Oliver's own wedding was really beautiful even if Oliver got a bit of a wobble and could not believe how lucky he had Shane's love for ever
When 2 worlds collide theyll always b intrinsic friction; The past(Oliver) meeting the present (Shane) ; the plus v the minus whatever u call it but opposites sometimes DO attract.
Hope Hallmark allows videos 4 thru 9. I watch every day even though I have all the DVDs. Also Hallmark makes such a big deal of Christmas movies yet I have not seen SSD “for Christmas” listed. Did they forget they produced it?
Same here. I was hoping to view eps 4-9! Then I read somewhere that they were taken down! Sure hope they come back soon. Thanks to Mr Rick for his uploads!
Olivers talking about the cancelling his dance regime with Shane due to unexpected developments is just totally transparent; yeh cos the unexpected development is.... U just so totally into her even if ur 100% in denial about it
It amazes me. Oliver lets Holly go for two years without a word. He doesn't pursue her. Nothing! Shane goes to work for three months with Steve. He's ready to dump her. Didn't it dawn on him that he had no feelings for Holly? He was so crestfallen when Shane left. She's his world. Plus, she did come back.
Man he's hard work; easier t skate uphill on 1 leg; that moment when he moves back as she reaches out t remove something on his suit...ouch, painful. lts a good thing she's in f the long haul an truly loves him cos many a women wud of given up by now
Paul Stookey wrote this song years ago....we had friends sing it at our wedding 50 years ago!!! On December 2 Gavin and I will be married for 50 Years!💞

Exactly! When do you think Oliver first realized he had feelings for Shane?

I wish this series was still on TV.

Love what you did to highlight the romance of this amazing series...the music is so lovely too...
Thank you, Leonore. You are very kind.
SSD has to be one of my most favorite series. I'm sorry that I missed the airing of Shane and Oliver's wedding. Hopefully it'll be aired again.
It had been on Hallmark a couple more times keeping watching. I recorded it for myself
Amazon Prime Video has it for rent - I watched it the other day
Beautiful films, cover all emotions and about life.
LOVE the series SO MUCH :-) Can't wait for the next one
Rick...love your uploads...Part 4 and Part 5 DO NOT play...hope to see them soon!...Best, Richard and Linda
Richard and Linda Dilly - Thanks, guys. Hallmark is blocking some of my videos in certain countries. I’m trying to figure out how to make them happy.
