Thank you for a very informative video! I have been using 28# paper. I have a few patterns that are landscape oriented and will probably stay with 28# to help with the wider image. The next portrait sized image I do, I will probably try 24#.
If you used the higher GSM paper and used a bone folder would that cause the front line of the image to crack slightly because of the paper thickness … Hope that makes sense … Luv your videos they are always so helpful
I started with using my laser printer and found that this caused the ink to crack. I went to my inkjet using 24 lb paper and have never had the issue again. Hope this helps.
Be sure to print at best quality. Are you using genuine HP ink? Is the paper HP brand? I've been told by tech people that using the same brand paper and printer/ink yields better quality.

Yes, they both work well. As I had mentioned, I used the 28# for a long time and actually find it a bit easier to fold.

I use regular copy paper, and my books look great, but will try the 24, thanks for the info..
I have been using 30 lb and the design is coming out faded I use a hp 7900
