Hey Brother instead of the cardboard try using the reverse side of velcro "the soft side" ..it's sticky and it will remain in place unlike the cardboard. I just cut 2. 1.5 inch strips and inserted it on the two outside at the backside of the mag holder, ones that you were talking about and it works awesome. been doing quick magazine changes during target practice and it's working flawlessly. you can even reinsert them easily if necessary.
How about using a heat gun & pushing in on both outside sides with a piece of round stock to bend in & take up a few mm of internal diameter? That should make a tighter fit.
so the double mag pouch would not have the same problem you figure then? Also you could try using some superglue to keep something in against the back on the two outside mags so on a range day you dont have to keep picking up your pieces of paper
Just a thought, but I'm wondering if the unit could withstand a simple relief cut down the front of the middle holder to relieve the excessive tension there on that mag? It's a good system and I am considering runningbthis relief cut test on a sacrificial unit.

S.M- 42 perfect solution, barely needed to tighten it down. Thanks to the both of you.
I like what he is doing but do it for the middle mag to so you can git it out.

Thank you. Hopefully they see this video and fix that problem. I had to do the cardboard thing also.
I carry 3 spare mags because I work alone and backup can be 10-20 minutes away.
You need to get ready all the time and be careful
Dang, I have this pouch for 1911 mags and I love it! Mine works fine with fairly even tension across all three mags
I totally agree the more mags the better.

Jack HAMMER I have double mag pouch from blade tech and same problem if not worse.
I did make 2 relief cuts along middle mag and works great, have had it for 2 years now. Make the cuts just long enough to balance tension.
I put some Sticky magnet strips on mine and it works perfect and only one side is sticky

What is need is a piece of steel in the back to pull on with the tension screws.
My inner mag is tight, however when either outer magazine is removed, the middle comes out just fine.
Is that tactical or plain look?
I gave mine up and went back to two mags because the middle one kept getting stuck might as well just have two magazines
Would this fit glock 21?
Great review, thanks.
Does this work with a 9mm sig mag 15 mag?
I had the same issue but it was the middle mag that was loose
Is this like the 079 can you use it for ccw too?
I own this and this product is no good. My middle mag is so tight when the two side mags are the correct tension.
does it work with the glock extended mags?
yes
Why would it not?
Hi👍135
Wow. Looks like a piece of shit, won't be adding this to my duty belt anytime soon.
