    Love 'em
    They reminded me of some of the weirder trilobites species when you were building them ... which would also make a very cool sculpture ;)

      Ah I don't know that species ill be sure to check it out!Yes they defiantly will be part of a bigger sculpture one day as I am looking to develop my 3D sculpturing!:)

      @@Nadellart Love the way you Paint with heat. Stainless could open up your pallet.

      @Nadellart  ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you! I would love to work with stainless. I have experience with it and it is fun but, the prices are really not the same. in not only the material but the consumables and time! Takes some buyers for it and im still starting so hopefully that will open up for me in time as I grow :)

    Qurious. Is their a fine tip for plasma cutters?

    • @Nadellart
      @Nadellart  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes there is actually a lot of different tips for plasma.although I use the basic one.
      you can control the size of your cut by controlling your speed and settings and the smaller tips can be more expensive so I rather adjust myself .although they may be useful in different situations,I just don’t have a big need for them yet.

    Great work!! BUT - can intricate welding be done with a "stick/SMAW/arc" welder?

    • @Nadellart
      @Nadellart  ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you I appreciate. If your talking about the welding itself then no. Although yes you can create many intricate things with the use of a stick/smaw. The order I would proceed However would be different. I usually detail colour then weld. In the case of a stick I would suggest to weld then detail and colour. As There’s is much less control with a stick and more clean up involved that would possibly ruin the colouring and detailing. If your talking about a multilayered plasma cut that’s been detailed I would say to try and plan ahead, so that where you chose to weld consider how you can hide the mess it creates with the next piece covering it. To create the least mess possible your machine will have to be very well adjusted in order create less splatter.
      Anything is possible there are many artist that use stick and mig to create beautiful art pieces, it just depends on how inventive you can be and the techniques you use to develop it. Try it out and don’t be discouraged if it takes some time. Use whatever is available to you now and you’ll find what works best for you in the moment, you can always invest in new tools or learn new techniques later. The most important thing is for you to enjoy yourself :)

    Do you have to file down the edges so nobody gets cut

    • @Nadellart
      @Nadellart  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I do my best to get sharp edges yes,but in a case with millions of little strands of metal sometimes I can’t get it all or in some cases you might miss one by accident so I advise that gloves are always used when handling particular pieces and try to arrange it in a way that it’s in a place that’s easy to get cut.also depending on how many coats of clear you use you can soften out those edges to.the important is to think about when and where someone will handle or touch it and do your best to make sure they don’t get hurt.

    • @johnhayes6414
      @johnhayes6414 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can't get away just thinking someone won't touch art work. If they get hurt the artist is to blame.
