I mainly love Traditionally made old school cobbled outdoors footwear leather boots made from superb leather like Altberg Uk. Why? true craftsmanship and the joy of opening an almost handmade boots made of gorgeous leather is so special the smell of the super quality leather on opening the box is absolutely gorgeous and this can not be replicated by China Crap! or mass-produced Robotic production line. However after needing an Approach boot not many real traditional boot makers make pacific designed tec footwear like approach boots etc. This is were Scarpa came into its own specialty. These boots are my first product from Scarpa. Although, I don't agree with plastic or robot manufacturing. These approach boots from Scarpa are impressively comfortable and functional, very lightweight and are quite impressive. However, see how durable and long-lasting they are with been made by what seems mass production glue and modern materials? Time is the durability test. I do find Scarpa products and footwear extreme over priced compared to some more desirable handmade traditionally cobbled boots. Time is the test. We shall see, If this Glue and plastic and unknown leather has to offer from Scarpa? I totally Understand that you need specialist Technology designed footwear boots for extreme outdoor pursuits like high altitude Mountaineering, climbing and other landscapes and extreme weather...
Might as well name your Channel Scarpa Asia. It is clear from the video that all of your footage was taken in China. I love the feeble attempt to hide it too. Instead of showing proud Italian people making the product, the company hides their faces in shame. Italy is one of the last of places to buy a quality shoe. It will be a shame when the only shoe to buy is a shoe made in China.
Who really cares? or are the Italian peoples hand better suited to working the machines that are sewing, cutting and putting the shoes together then the people from China? And feeble attempt to hide it? they don't try to hide anything, or should they put up the nationality of every person working for them in the video?
