I am watching everyday . I learn many things . But I would like to say something about donkey. That animals stand up all day under the summer sun. We can not stand the sun just 5 minutes. If the owner of donkey can tie them in the under the tree , that poor animal can be a little bit peace. They are carriying staff and something , at least we can give them just shadow. I know that donkey is not belong to you, if you know owner , please just request them , they can be need just small warning to notice about animal. Unfortunalty ,my villager is the same. They put all poor animal under the sun, they have life. Greek people like animal mostly and they are not like my brutal people, if we warn them, they might be understand. I am sorry ,maybe ı make you tried with my comment, just i want to try my chance . Thank you again for that great project. I follow up you always.

      I agree with you. Here it seems people think the donkeys can stand in the sun all day without problem, even in this heat these days.

    The romanization should probably be phonetic though, so 'íne' instead of 'eínai', 'ikoyénia' instead of 'oikogéneia'.
    With a transliteration it's difficult for the viewers to know which part of the sentence the speaker is on.

    • @cubicle89
      @cubicle89 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thank you for the comment Leonidas. I've given this a lot of thought, and your idea isn't bad, but I'm thinking that it could confuse some people even more, as English speakers would much faster read íne as αϊν than ειναι. On top of that, it adds an extra layer of learning a cipher that would be more or less artificial and indeed useless for reading anything else apart from Easy Greek videos. Not that that the transliteration is perfect as it is now, there is no one commonly accepted standard Greeklish, but I'd be interested to know how it can be improved. Some viewers have suggested it be removed altogether.

      it would be more difficult for many people to follow the phonetic one
