You're right, their bond is pretty blatant. They are stellar actors and performers with carefully constructed personas, and they're always in control during their Hatari acts and stunts; however, the affection and intimacy between them is the one thing they cannot keep under wraps, probably because it's so utterly natural to them. For instance, they are pretty much constantly in each other's personal space during their interviews; and yet they don't ever seem to be even aware of it. It's really touching and endearing to see the mask slip ever-so-slightly during those moments and to catch a glimpse of their true selves - probably the only glimpse we'll ever get as Hatari aficionados. 😊
