Watched a recent video of them opening - this is crazy. Looks more like their building an airport rather than a single subway entrance. That’s all it is. A stop on the grid. Why is it so extreme?
Its nice and all but pathetically executed. I understand the challenges and barriers that come through but not when its pushed back nearly 4 years later after the deadline. They promised to finish this line by late 2014, then 2015, 2016 and now its gonna open in dec 2017 /early 2018?? massive waste of taxpayers coffers.
The class of 2056 will definitely enjoy the grand opening ceremony
lmfao! Yup that's just transit in toronto......
The line was supposed to be open in time for the pan am games. Good job on that one!!!
Swordisk politics at fault. Not the speed of the workers.

Rob Ford happened, which meant they couldn't BEGIN until 2014 or so.
This has been under construction fore more than 5 years.
2000 plants...The wave of the future is the scrub-choked city. Stupid treehugger aesthetics.
it's not that they want to "SAEV TEH TREES" or anything like that. it's just that it looks pretty.
Excessive planting doesn't look pretty. It looks messy and overgrown.
toronto has always been a green city. and no it doesnt look overgrown at all, its very well landscaped.
