If you are studying at Charles University as a full-time student, contact your faculty because they will arrange your accommodation for you. If you are coming as an Erasmus student, you will need to use the Erasmus online application for accommodation: cuni.cz/UKEN-365.html

My situation is very much similar with yours, we're couple with one kid and are planning to come to CUNI to study.
Is your room an ensuite double room 2+2 right?
And does they apply the same standard cost for kids as well?
