Oh bummer. I was rooting for the ascent.Its my current favorite mini in my collection. Just a capable do all crawler.Hats off to the tr4m for taking the win. This was a great series to watch buddy.Also. That Arktos was sick. 👍🏼👊
@@360woodierc thanks woodie i had alot of fun filming it mainly because i did alot of rcing for a few days which i normally dont do lol yes i had high hope for the ascent18 i thaught it would win as well but its the little things that made it lose but regardless its way more capable than the trx4m in stock form if i ran the trail gears on the 4m the ascent18 would of destroyed it quick the 4m gots a couple more mods than the ascent18 did so i guess thats what helped it in this comp brother and yes the artkos is way cool man i love it first run and recovery video coming soon and the another comparison test vs the fms hummer ev with its new wheels n treads hehe its gonna be a fun comparison between the arktos and hummer ev
redcat still wins muddy tires and bad driving lol no way can trx4 beat the redcat .both should have same tires to be fair..fun to watch these thanks for the video
@@patrickkerns2022 yeah the redcat performed better in most situations but the TRX4M eventually came thru its was super close just a point id recommend the redcat over the trx4 m in stock form 100 % but we did add the crawler gears and did some Minor mods to the 4M and it just barely beat the redcat by a measley point if the trx4m was in stock form with trail gears it would of lost epically in a big way so we did our best to modify the 4M to match the out of the box performance of the ascent18 but it took a good bunch of change to accomplish that it wasnt a cheap build tbh and with all that it still almost got smoked by the ascent18 just to give you an idea of all the mods we did to match the ascent18s performance out of the box
i ordered one today red one i think i will get the ir60 body and the kit to fit the redcat .you know i dont think the trx4 with bronco body could even come close.so maybe the injora body makes a huge difference ..i would have never thought it would matter so much.thanks for the reply keep the videos comin thanks bro

@@360woodierc yes indeed them CLING ON tires are very sticky and soft so they hook up really good on the rocks and those moon wheels are just too cool

I put my mofo monster truck tires and rims on my 6 x 6. It is sweet dude not real good steering, but it was bad to the bone.
