That was such an amazing video, Hannah! The filming, editing, and voice-over(while you're setting up the board) were so well done! Great job on putting the entire routine in under 10 minutes. Making such types of videos do need planning and are time-consuming, but I really liked this new and interesting style, and I hope that you'll continue to make such kind of videos in the future. :D
Besides just being enjoyable to watch, I couldn't help but notice what a high quality production this video is. The script, your presentation, and the editing add up to something that really stands out.
Lovely video! A cool unique idea with a perfect execution. Well done Hannah. Maybe there can be a whole series of different players, perhaps one of D-d-d-d-danya where you play bullet all day.
Would like to know more hearing about games that Magnus Carlsen had the most fun during his rise of when chess how he defined his brand giving the context of his video for sharing... or aspect in book like you did before that flesh out conceptualization to make chess fun or challenging for those playing to keep stimulated from the game keeping the sport in direction where people can feel safe getting attach to the game, thank for you sharing how world champ has influence you to keep this game going for you positively
I think doing a one-week challenge would be really awesome :). This was my first time filming & editing a TH-cam video of this sort, so I decided not to go to big with the challenge this time, but I'll plan something like that for the future!
Only kidding in the previous comment. It's a great video. I've been in a plateau for a year so I should start applying some of these ideas. Your streams and videos keep me motivated for chess improvement. Thanks so much for all the effort you put in.
Thank you. I just understood how much work is involved to be at the top level just like any other discipline. For some reason I thought the strong players just had natural ability to play like that.
not gna lie being new to chess only been playing around 4-5months, this video was really kool and insightful, im only 750 elo but bee on a rapid incline since starting every time i play im improving guess its the honey moon phase aha but i do believe mindset is important, and routine, you have to keep your mind fresh at all times, literally looking at the board like a child, i push my mind into theta state through meditation whilst simultaneously focusing on a picture of me as a child to kinda imbue and remember what that state of mind was like! no thought ect! essentially your mind becomes a sponge again! also this is backed by science id dont think its just pure intuition from my end, it works tho! great vid!
It is really about doing what works for you! In my opinion, setting up the positions and using a physical board to calculate works best for me, but if you think you learn just as well (and save some time) without doing this, then keep doing what works :D
OMG did anyone else notice that Hannah's eyes are different colors. The left one is greenish and the right one is brown. How beautiful ! This is the first time I see someone with different colored eyes.
Wow amazing video! Anyone catch the incredible innovative castle at 3:48 ? Also any lactose intolerant options to rejuice while studying? Lastly, judging from your calculations I can gain 80 rating everyday so you should be higher than magnus in a few weeks! Wow! Truly inspirational! Running in circles noted!
ive been stuck stuck on the 1400 for more than 6 months now. guess i'll take a break from playing and devote more time to tactics, pawn structures, middlegame, endgames and studying master games of my opening repertoire.
also i never understand why people have smoothies your essentially turning the fruit into sugar, because you break up the much necessary fibres in the fruit that are integral for breaking down the nutrients in a healthy way, you have basically had desert for breakfast! just offering info obvs you can do what you want no judgement here! im no saint aha have an amazing day! new fan from the UK
I definitely got better at chess by studying more than I played chess. I find spending 4 to 5 hours studying for 20 mins then 5 min break then 20 mins worked best for me. The next day I would play a 30 min game of chess against a player at my rating. They the day after that I would study another 4 to 5 hours. And repeats being healthy eating clean and exercise and low stress is good.
As someone who is stuck on 2000 rating from 4 months, what should I do? I analysed that I generally play the openings well but mostly I give away the advantage in the endgames or late middle games, so are there any end game books you think I shoud go through to surpass this level? You can also make a video which shows a blueprint for the advance players who want to surpass this level. Thankyou!!
I’m setting up a position where the knight is on b6. So I’m looking at a picture of the position and putting it on the board, moving the pieces to where they are in the position.
i think she's a human FF chimera: a person who is a genetic composite of two people. ( look at wiki ). If she's got two tone skin or two tone natural hair colour then this cements the assertion. Sadly the last time we saw a human female with her natural hair colour was back in 1997AD. Hannah will likely go the rest of her life without ever knowing what colour her natural hair is.

Wow, thank you! 😊
"oh cool, hannah just uploaded a brand new vid-"

That was a really fun watch! Interesting idea and a very well put together video, liked and subscribed!
Thank you very much!!! :D

Thanks andy... I mean... Mr Dreadscare :D. Sounds like a great idea, although playing bullet all day is already my daily routine :').
So interesting to see your chess-study with the chess books' chapters. Thank you
Great insight and channel.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That's not Hannah, that's an imposter! Everything's on the wrong side!
reversed Hannah monkaS
Isn't Hannah the same both ways?

Players he respect during this rise in the chess professional and acceptance that he would lead the branding of professional chess
Great video Hannah. Fine idea, and well put together. I am guessing the editing took longer and was more gruelling than the five hours of chess study.
Thankyou very much! And yes... it was!
Thanks for the video! It is cool! What about a week challenge?

true! they do make it look easy, but there’s a lot of work that goes into it :’)
4:16 Hmm interesting move 🤔 😂
Fluffy Doggo Timestamps: 2:43 6:20 1:56?
most important timestamps :))
Magnus and Hannah two of my favourite people in one people!! What more can you ask for? WOOT!
WOOO

I'm glad you enjoyed the video!! And yes, having a fresh and curious mind when looking at the board sure helps :).
question, i just feel, except endgames, using actual board is pretty cumbersome, rearranging a full board every time will take so much time

Very Noiiiiceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! xD
It's always good to change things up like that sometimes to avoid burnout.
Very beautiful chessboard too :)
Thanks again!

thankyou kind sir!
But the real question is: does Magnus also wake up with mascara on?
🤣

good luck!
Hi, Thanks for that video, please cab you tell me wich chessboard and figurs you use, there are looking amacing
No worries :D. The chessboard was a gift so I'm not sure of the exact name, but it is a Dal Rossi one.
*cough cough* you forgot the beer…

I've watched some of your streams since you were sub 1800 and never noticed your eyes have different colors. That's so sick
thankyou :D
4:14 she moves knight from b8 to b6 lol

hannah ti imas puno zelja i zahteva koje zelis da ti se ispune a mi hocemo da znamo koju si skolu zavrsila?
I progressed in chess only after studying short commented games. To each his own. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! :D

This video is fake, Magnus doesn’t sleep 😢
I'm lactose-intolerant and don't really enjoy chocolate. Oh, no, I'll never be as good as Magnus!!! Bad chess genes.
oh no! you’re doomed :’)
I want to do that but 5 hours is very hard for me :(
Does Magnus already have a gf?
You want a chess boyfriend
