Dear María, How do you treat your Desert Rosas when the leaves have black spots and then they turn dark and die? Help please, my friend! Another awesome video and funny story!!! I love that Lucas is joining in with you with comments more and more! 💚🌵💚
Maria you are the reason I now have a desert rose but I have questions. I put it in a ceramic pot with Miracle-Gro cactus and succulent soil. I have purchased the items to repot it with but I’m afraid to. When I repotted it, it went into dormancy and I look at you video and got my answers. It came back quickly with leaves and blooms. Now here is my problem. I have the items to make the potting mix for for my succulents and desert roses, because I bought another one along the way. I’m afraid to repot the first one because I have some blooms but only 3 leaves on the whole plant. I don’t see root rot but I have not looked deep around the plants & it has the Miracle-Gro cactus soil in the pot instead of the mix you advise us to use and I’m so scared to repot it right now because of the shape it is at this moment. Should I repot the new one that looks very healthy and wait on the other or should I wait because of the time year in South Carolina. I’m just really confused on what to do as I just got all the ingredients to make the mixes for succulents and desert roses. The succulents I’m fine but my desert roses I need some direction. This is why I am reaching out to you, I watch your videos but I’m just at a loss with my desert roses. Please advise me as what I need to do and if I need to send you some pictures I will gladly. Mrs. Maria Please Help me and my babies.
Ann Stewart Hi Ann after you taker the root rot and the cuts are dry I mean very dry you apply the titebond lll wood glue waterproof them you wait 24 hours for the glue to dry and you need to plant you desert rose a soon possible to avoid the plant from dehydrated this process take about a week not longer than a week them you need to keep the plant under roof for six seven weeks to reroof during this time you need to keep the top of the soil moisture about one inch after this you can placed out side and treat just like regular plant make sure the soil is dry when planting if you have any questions feel free to call at 941-457-1172 thank you Maria’s garden
