    This is just the site I was looking for.
    I bought my machine many years ago and have forgotten how it works.
    Thank you so much for this lesson and not going too fast.

    This video is fabulous! I just upgraded by purchasing a used Opal 670, and I was a little bit intimidated by all the features. Not any more! This is better than any class I've ever attended. Thank you.

    I just bought the Tribute Anniversary 145C. I couldn't find a tutorial for that model. At the store, I thought the Opal looked like what I was purchasing. Sure enough! It is close, if not exactly the same machine. Your tutorial is a great asset to me. I will use it while practicing and using my machine. Thank you.

    Thank you for this great video. I purchased the Opal 670 and have not yet had my lessons. Your video clearly describes the features. The information on the stitches is very good.

    Hi John. I know this video is old, but its STILL very much valid today. Just wanted to tell you this video was very helpful and thorough, and which helped me choosing a machine. I bought the "twin" (Tribute 145 C, Anniversary limited edition). Because of how well you described all these featuresl, I do not feel terryfied any longer. Thank you so much. (my first sewing machine). -Beginner.

    My husband got me the 650 and I couldn't wait for Christmas. I am loving every feature. It sews beautifully. This is a wonderful video and it has been such a help until my classes begin. I would love to find out how to do a personalize label with more than 1 line. Thank you so much.

    I have the Designer SE ( Husqvarna ) I wish you could do some videos on the Designer SE. Your videos are very good....precise etc. I have been ill for several months and haven't sewn for awhile. Seems I start sewing, I then get sick, and tend to forget things I learned.
    There's very few videos on TH-cam on the SE, and what videos that are out there are difficult to understand. Husqvarna / Viking needs to realize that those of us who have spent the amount of money we have to acquire an expensive machine like these,want instructions !
    As soon as I get alittle more comfortable with my machine once again, I will be putting out some step by step videos for those of us to learn.
    For those of you who are interested in quilting, there's a lot of wonderful videos here on TH-cam from the Missouri Star Quilt Company. Be sure to check MSQC out I stumbled on MSQC and have learned a great deal about quilting.

    Does this machine work well with Denier and Leather and Denim Fabric? Thank you by the way.. great video... also made me jump from a singer 9960 to viking opal 670 ... been reading alot about how singer has dropped in quality. I will be purchasing a machine simply for a pouch made of spandex with a few straight stitches. but would like to make a few ad dons to my military style backpack.

    How do I get that S with a black foot that shows on the display when showing the stitches at the beginning..?

  • @valeryklassen7078
    @valeryklassen7078 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When you use the needle up/down button does the presser foot lift when the needle is set to the down position.?Used for easy turning while doing appliqué.

    I just bought this machine When I start to sew the thread is a big mess on underside. Help what is going on

    • @sharonsimpson6837
      @sharonsimpson6837 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The machine isn't threaded correctly. cut the thread off just beyond the spool and pull out from the needle. Never back out thread. Hold the spool so it doesn't pull freely and go through the threading process. Make sure the needle is all the way up

    Hi thanks for the awesome tutorial--I own the machine and am glad that you have made this instructional video--it has really helped me out. I do have a question --If I want to add )for example) only 8 hearts and then a name and 8 more hearts, how would I do that on this machine.
    Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

    Where can I watch the other videos?

    • @heatherr9201
      @heatherr9201 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Claudia Angel Gonzalez you are probably missing the takeup lever... watch how to thread again... and worst case take it back where you bought it and they can help. Hope you got it but posting just in case.

    Excellent video. Am comparing this Opal new to Husqvarna 875 used and without warranty ($999) to Husqvarna current saffire model, new. Nervous over getting a machine without warranty but price and features so tempting. .

    have this machine but the needle threader broke within the first few weeks i had it, didn't like that after the price i paid, now the tension guide needs replaced and nowhere can you find this part! really disappointed in husqvarna!!!

    I think my machine is a monday machine. The needle threader and the automatic thread cutter dont work right. It never cut the top thread and the most time it makes thread salad down below.
