My favorite YA Series is a really close battle between the Young Jedi Knights and the Lorien Legacies. Both Sci-Fi with Superpower Elements. Really recommend them both to kids and adults
@@libraryoflores a lot of the Star Wars EU is really good! The Darth Bane Trilogy, the Jedi Apprentice Series (which is Qui-Gon being Obi-Wan’s Master long before Episode 1), The Courtship of Princess Leia, basically anything with Thrawn in it, the Jedi Academy Trilogy, (I, Jedi), the Children of the Jedi/Darksaber/Planet of Twilight Trilogy, The Young Jedi Knights like I mentioned, the New Jedi Order era, and the Legacy Era are all awesome. Other fans I know also really liked the X-Wing: Rogue Squadron books. As far as Lorien Legacies goes you might know it better by the Title of the 1 Movie Adaptation of the Lorien Legacies that they did titled I Am Number Four. While the movie is better than it has any right to be the books are loads better. The Sequel Series they did after the original Lorien Legacies finished is crap but the Original Series is really really good…
I first read them 15ish years ago as a young teen. On my first re-reading now at age 30 and it’s still just as captivating. Seriously underrated and should get a movie deal because it’s just begging for it. The world building is almost on scale with something like the avatar movies and the main characters have enough depth to invest in them. Mixing things up by going to new worlds and returning to old ones while throwing constant twists keeps it fresh. Pendragon and Eragon are the best options for Harry Potter lovers to read next. Optionally check out Rangers Apprentice. The ending to Pendragon blew me away yes a little bit of a confusing and annoying ending but still amazing from start to finish. Yes D.J writes with basic vocabulary but he’s portraying teenagers and the books are for that same audience.. did I cry several times in the series? Yes but that’s the way it was meant to be. So Hobey-ho ho! And so we go..
I could absolutely not agree with you more! Also I've been thinking about this being adapted as a movie since I was a kid. It would be so good! Apparently there was at one point a movie deal because one of the books I had as a kid said "soon to be a major motion picture" on the front. But sadly never got made
Love seeing anyone react to Bobby. Would like to see him talked about more.
Great recommendation.👍 This series sounds very interesting.😊
I'm glad to hear it 🙂 I really enjoy it and I've read it a few times over the years
This series would definitely make an incredible video game!
Agreed! Too bad it didn't take off
