It seems that most people have eye floaters - I think there should be FAR MORE efforts to remove them surgically by removing the gel that contains the floters by replacing them with clear gel - this minor operation should be widely available for people to have them removed.
For dry eyes, especially my left eye I use MSM drops, it gives me instant relief, and as for the floaters I agree that dark glass's outdoors makes them seem to disappear
I struggled greatly with eye floaters in my late 20s--tried multiple YAG laser attempts, become obsessed with supplements, and eventually had a single core vitrectomy with a great surgeon. The ONLY lasting solution was to slowly learn to ignore them. It may seem impossible at first, but the less you think about them, the less you squint and try to 'examine' them, the more they fade out of your attention. I'm a fan of your channel, Martin, as a long-time sub. But I suggest anyone obsessing over eye floaters to get away from 'eye floater' content completely.
thanks for the video, I do sleep like that already but since the PVD event first in my right eye then maybe 12 months later in my left eye they haven't changed that much, I got used to the ones in my left eye much quicker as I knew what was happening... but the ones in my left eye seem shorter... is there any other treatment for these things? as they are very distracting :-(
Sorry to hear about the double PVDs. Those floaters will of course be very annoying. Currently; supplements, atropine and surgical treatments are the options. More on all of these to come on the channel.
Awesome. It would be interesting to see if the precision of the femtosecond laser will translate well to better and consistent laser treatment outcomes for floaters.

Thanks for the comment John, it’s helpful to know the things that are working for others.
