I can confirm it’s a fantastic ride. The speed is very constant and the ride lasts forever. I loved the two stage first drop and the turnaround in the tunnel. Highly recommended ride!
I've been loving and admiring this seemingly-endless WOOD COASTER since Rob Alvey covered it on his Theme Park Review a few years ago. You haven't lived until you've seen his POV back-seat footage of this monster. As he comments throughout the ride, "It just doesn't let up!" And it doesn't! This GCI masterpiece hauls ass from start to finish! Without having actually ridden, I'm nominating this thriller as my vote for the world's best #1 woodie!
This is my #1 wood coaster. The park is really difficult to get to (our taxi driver never heard of Knight Valley and had to place several calls to find out where it is) and the entire park is built in the mountainside so it was a steep walk to get to it but this coaster is truly amazing. After the lift hill it is non stop speed and elements and it feels like it is continually picking up speed... Mostly due to the terrain. If anyone ever gets a chance to go to Shenzhen China look for his coaster as it is amazing.
I love that you compared this to Excalibur! I grew up on that coaster, and that's exactly what I was thinking....even the remoteness of the where it is in the park!
A couple of coaster hobbyist friends I know have ridden Wood Coaster. Both, like me, have been on most of America's GCIs and most US wood coasters dating back to the early 80s (yeah-we're old, 50s-60s). Both friends say it's the best GCI without compare. I am planning a possible China trip next year. This is one of the most beautiful coasters I've ever seen, and the swooping turnaround looks magnificent! Thanks for this great video!
My man! Ain’t even watched the video yet and I’m already pumped lol. Thanks for taking on the recommendation. You can never go wrong when digging into China for coaster content. 😌 My sir, you’ve earned your subscription. Edit: _great_ thumbnail btw
The two best CGI coasters are in China: this and Python in Bamboo Forest. After that would be Ghostrider (if you count it as a CGI which re-tracked it and gave it Millennium Flyer trains, but it was originally a CCI )
Its a "not likely" from me. Not the biggest fan if GCIs, as they seem to concentrate pretty much on banked turns (often forceless other than uncomfortable laterals) as this ride looks to do. They also can get rough as hell very quickly, which make the turns unvearable. The speed of this looks impressive, but you really need to keep up with track maintenance to keep it smooth an rideable. But the layout is impressive.

Wooden coasters are my favorite! This looks thrilling & exciting! Awesome location (side of a mountain!), awesome scenery.
WOW I probably won't ever get to ride this, but it looks amazing! I wasn't even aware it exists. The layout and surroundings look stunning.

I agree, this coaster looks CRAZY! Glad you liked it, you’ll have to keep me updated on when you get to ride it 😝
Love your coverage on these elite hidden coasters on the other side of the world. Keep it up 🥃
Thanks!
It would have been great to see the entire POV!
This does look like the best wooden coaster in the world. It’s high on my bucket list and I’d love to ride it in the future!
Easily looks like one of the best wooden coasters in the world

Awesome! Thanks man! 🤟
Wow this look so fun
I know the guys at GCI. They do nothing but TOP NOTCH work! I soooo want to ride this one!
Been adoring these videos exploring uncommon coasters!
I’m glad! Thanks for the support! 👍
This thing looks insane

Literally can call this “The Great Wall of China Coaster” lmao
This looks sickkk.
This GCI looks like literal heaven I really want something like this here in America
Parts of it remind me of the Colossus at Magic Mountain! That reminds me, do you have any videos on the Colossus?
I do! Footage from my Dad!
How about doing a video or 2 on ferris wheels.
RMC will throw a party with this one
Great video
Thank you!
Im predicting the next one will be about Eagle Fortress
Flying through the clouds

i feel like since its a jeff pike designed GCI, it’s gotta look better than it rides :(
GCI Balderdash?
That coaster look's huge
looks like TPR footage here. would ride!
It looks relentless, like there's little break in the action. I mean that in a good way.
Why do people put their arms in the air? Looks like they're trying to slow it down.
Interesting...
Imagine this being RMC'D
I wouldn’t ride google tofu dreg...Chinese make things too quick too cheap
“Wood Coaster”? What a stupid name.
The Chinese name on the sign for the ride says Mountain Flyer but the English name says Wood Coaster and most people just call it that
@@MrCollerRoaster Mountain Flyer is a sexier name
Anyone else noticed how similar that Chinese guy looks to winnie the pooh?

Having fun is banned in china. You loose social credit score for going here
How Bout Riding it at Night.
fast
I would never ride a coaster built by or located in China.
