2016 is a turning point for BTS success. It was the first year of them winning daesang in MMA 2016(Album of the Year: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever (2016)) and MAMA 2016 (Artist of the Year).

I was like--- is that really me???
I dont know but I feel kind of sad when I saw Namjoon backhugging Jin. Like, I feel joon was lonely and want to share their winning moments with someone. He never had many friends among the idol, he wasnt like V or even Jin that had many friends among the colleagues. He prefer to spend his time with non celebrity friends and ofc with BTS members, he was really dedicated to his job as bts's song lyricist & bts leader. On that moment in the award show, I feel like that he still tried to grasp the reality that they got the daesang, and he needed someone to hold. On the backhug moment, maybe if Jin was turning back to him and standing face to face to him they probably will cry happiness tears together. The backhug was a really emotional moment for both of them.

They are parents of BTS, they raised all 5 kids well & shared all understandings between each other. Being a leader, RM definitely has alot of duty. But he is the 4th oldest of the group. He also needs someone with whose he can share everything. I'm gonna miss NamJin aloooot. Jin is coming back to us, But RM😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭

Tbh in here I have always loved how nervous namjoon was before they announced the award, and how jin knew to hold his hands when it was announced.. I love how joon accepts it.. how he clings to jin.. how he kinda pinches jin's waist tightly.. because he never does that to anyone else.. I have seen him pinching Jin's waist somewhere else as well, in a fan meeting clip as well..
Then I have always loved how at the end he checks the surrounding if it's optimal to give jin a backhug, a lover's hug, in the crowd.. then gives it.. as if to enjoy his success in the moment, even if it's just for a second.. I also love the even if jin is so well mannered every single time and resists PDA in front of camera.. he though removes namjoon's hands, but gives him his reverse hug on namjoon's hips by one hand, he thought was away from camera...
He does this a lot with namjoon, hugging him in reverse whenever namjoon hugs him from behind...
It was their first major win which they anticipated a lot.. I mean they hoped for it.. must be very emotional for namjoon.. as if he has conquered a major battle..
Even though at that time jin was not much known for his cocalt skills like maknae and was bashed a lot for his dance skills..
The fact that namjoon always and always goes to jin for dealing his emotions.. shows how close they have always been and still are... Even though they have come a long way...
And these moments always I look back to when I think about namjin...

I totally agree with your words. NamJin is a couple who keeps their privacy. They don't like to do PDAs, if there are cameras they look awkward (but always stay close next to each other). Jin may be able to control his feelings, but Namjoon can't. That's why if we take a closer look we can see that Namjoon gives Jin a lot of skin ship and deep stares. Meanwhile, Jin will look more openly giving Namjoon attention if in front of the camera but still under control.
I also feel like Namjoon is the one who understand Jin the most, and vice versa. They know when the other person is sensitive and emotional so they will give support to each other.
