Michael Jackson - Family Thing (1993 Demo)

Also known as "Addam's Groove", Family Thing was written and recorded in 1993 for the soundtrack to the movie Addams Family Values, released in the same year, but was left off the soundtrack.
The song supposedly didn't make the cut due to contractual issues between Michael and Paramount, while the movie's writer, Paul Rudnick claimed Jackson's track wasn't included due to the child abuse allegations.
The same week the allegations were published, Jackson requested for a mix of Family Thing to be created, dated August 16th, 1993, which was mixed with a metronome.
The mix presented here removes the metronome and rebalances everything, giving a more faithful listening experience to the original demo.
