The first minute or so of the video just had to be (to me) the most beautiful. The long horn bull was such a beautiful creature. And no need to be afraid of them. Longhorns are noted for their very calm and docile ways...and friendly. They also are one of the more intelligent breeds. The fact that they ranged so close to you and did not rush off should come as a compliment to you. I hope you enjoyed their visit.
The Big Boy with the Horns was a Bull, He was with his lady friends and offspring! He could have wreaked havoc on you in an instant! Thank goodness he sensed that you were not a threat! He just dilly-dallied past but he came pretty close to you. He was happy to be free!!!
Yea northern Arizona... as a youngster at primitive girl scout camp we would smell the pine trees, chocolate vanilla and strawberry scents. I believe vanilla was the most prevalent... it was a fun group activity to keep us busy. Love the area. Happy camping.
As a little girl growing up on a farm in south central North Dakota, my mom, and her siblings, used to go out, and gather up dried cow patties to burn in their pot belly stove for heat. Whenever I see a cow patty, I am instantly brought to that story. Peace, and safe travels Brian...
Starting a video to a sunrise, then ending the video during a sunset. Doesn't have to be the same day. Just a thought. It's probably been done, idk. The way this video started, I just got the feeling like you just woke up, grabbed a camera, and saw a bunch of cows. It's cool. Must be nice! Ur so Blessed. Love the videos Brian
GOOD CALL BRIAN!!!! THATS DEF AN ADVANTAGE HERE IN SOUTHERN IDAHO, AT 4300 OUR SPRING IS LATE, AND OUR FALL IS EARLY. SUMMER IS A BIT WARM SO HIGH UP, BUT RARELY ABOVE 95. ITS SUPPOSED TO GET TO 26 HERE TONITE.. LOLOL BRRRRR. BUT I WILL TAKE A SPRING SNOW FLURRY OVER 90 DEGREES ANY DAY. ENJOY THEM SWEET SMELLY PINE NEEDLES!!!
I like your camping style, staying in one place for a couple of weeks then moving on. Seems many people flutter about and just drive drive drive. Been enjoying your channel for the last week or so, since the lure of camp pizza ;-)
Brian, your scenery shots are magnificent! The colors you’ve captured are just gorgeous and the shot towards the end of the video, of the mountains, stream and trees are where I long to be!!! Any state will do.
I'm in Michigan. Saturday it was in the 80°s, it rained all day Sunday and this morning temperature was 34°. I dont have to move to experience a change in the weather.
Where is Kelly? She often disappears on us without a word, lol There is always a comforting feeling when she is around and I dont know why because I am not there😅
Nice to see (@ 13:09) that there are areas with trees that are free of the blue-green mold found on just about every one here in the mid-west due to the incessant chemical spraying of the weather modification forces which have worked so diligently during the past five to ten years. The sick trees are crying out and unable to resist heavy winds or snows; the metals falling into the soil are blocking the natural flow of nutrients causing shallow roots! Appreciate the beautiful scenery and well polished editing skills of your videos.
I travel with a 5X8 utility trailer behind my Roadtrek van and it’s wonderful, it tows so easy and because it’s so small it’s not difficult to turn around on small forest service roads. I wouldn’t be without it, having enclosed storage for my ebikes and extra gear makes longer stays much more enjoyable
Always love the beautiful spots that you find. Not to bring in a Downer but I would make sure and check for "ticks" with that many cows out in the area you might have an issue. Make sure if you do find some to properly remove them. Thank you both for taking the time to share your wonderful adventures with us.
Hello Brian 👋 I needed that video. Thanks for sharing that one. I have been wanting to get out of the desert myself. And, slowly but surely head up in that area. I did read alerts on an NFS page about it being too muddy. They showed road closures and even ranger stations that were closed. So I'm gonna sit tight in the desert a little longer. Thanks to your video, I know what it looks like. Also, I can't handle the cold nights or the mornings. It affects my arthritis. You got there, and so will I. It is beautiful there. Ps: Can't wait to hug a tree, either. 👋
So jealous. There you go, complaining about how hot it is, and I'm up here in the PNW still freezing my butt off. 🤣🥶Blessings on your travels, both of you!!
We got stuck in Sitegreaves and needed a tow on April 7th. UGH!!! Ended up off FR307 in Kaibab NF off 64. Very dry up here and the weather's been great.
Ha, got your tires washed off. That made me laugh. Those folks getting stuck weren't having a good day. Yikes. I'm glad you didn't get stuck. Beautiful places. I liked seeing you hug the tree. ❤️ Great video!
Great idea with the shade cloth. I use this in my garden and it works great. I never thought about taking it camping. You always have the simple solutions that I appreciate. :) Loved the cows too.....that were pretty neat.
I know exactly where you landed. I've often camped on that little road to the right just after you cross the concrete low spot. I guess those are days past since I've moved to TX now. It's still a great area, though.
Merci for posting great video. Be safe and enjoy the forest soon I will be up there flagstaff visiting my friend Paul. Really enjoy camping with you guys at Quartzsite. Peace love JC.
I always enjoy your videos Brian. I was in Peoria for many years stationed at Luke Afb. I was sitting on the porch earlier watching my birds and thinking I'm really homesick for the dessert. I believe this winter will be the year I come back home to Az.
Last year 2022 I had the best weather of my whole life. In January I started in Havasu , stayed there for two months then moved to Kingman. Met a couple of fellow vanlifers , and after that we kind of hung together for a couple more months. First south of Williams (a gem in my opinion) , and then to the east (I think) of Williams. After that it was Flagstaff, one of my favorite cities . Point is that we continued moving higher and higher and the weather was between 60F and 85F all the time. I travel , I don't sit around but the high gas prices made me do it and it was quite the education. AZ has great weather if you can "move " towards it.
When we take long trips in the camper I often loose track of what day it is, how do you keep track of days? Or does the 14 day limit not really come into play? And I love that sound of silence.
Had to do a double take around 11:29 on the video. I thought "Dang, what a crop of chest hair" So it took me a minute to realize it was your microphone and had a good laugh.
It's so cool watching all us nomads move with the weather. I did the same thing but went too high elevation too soon. Got too chilly for me. I found a sweet spot south of Payson finally. I'll head higher up in the next few weeks 👍👍👍
OMG I was right there with you when you were pulling out! haha. I so loved the excitement of 'Moving On Day'! Loved finding the right spot and setting up, too! Thank you for the beautiful shots of the Superstitions. They have quite an interesting history too. I love the desert, even the heat. I did Lake Mead camping when it was 112 - 116. But then you went to SNOW!! Ewww! ;) Love your music choice. Love to you and Kelly!
Always a treat to see you post! :) Good news, our van has been having the engine rebuilt, and the a/c system replaced, and it's supposed to be done in the next week or so. I'm getting excited to have my van back, so I can start the rebuild on the inside. I really hope this takes care of all the essential problems, and we can start to enjoy driving it soon.
Always a pleasure to watch your journey. Good to see you acknowledging and greeting your Tree Spirit relative and new neighbor. Hoping your stay there a good one. Be well. Happy trails.
I knew it! You're a shameless tree-hugger! Great episode. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for taking me on another journey with you love your videos
Living the dream ✌️
Hello Brian and Kelly and Long Horn Bull!!
Seems like Arizona is a good state to go to Winter and gradually move north and Chase the cooler weather
Sunset orange sky is so beautiful:)
I loved seeing you hug that tree.

I am enjoying your music as much as your videography. Hope all your neighbors got unstuck 🙏🙏💞
Just commenting to help you with the algorithm and to let you know how much I appreciate your adventures and gentle ways. Peace, as ever. Rob
99°! The heck with that. Time to move north!
Love your videos Brian! They are therapeutic for an old guy like me that doesn’t get out and about much anymore. 😎

More people should hug a tree, the world would be a better place. Love the shade cloth idea and the awesome sunset ☮️
I miss the deserts.
Peace
Just what I longed for today. Thx Brian!

I’m with you on that. I have a 6x10 single axle and so far I love it.
Whoa. That set of Horns belonged to a Bull. He was equipped. Lol.

I left the PNW in 1970 at 18 years old once I found Arizona.
The peace and solitude at 13:48 ..... just beautiful. Nice camping spot.
We got stuck in Sitegreaves and needed a tow on April 7th. UGH!!! Ended up off FR307 in Kaibab NF off 64. Very dry up here and the weather's been great.

Heading up now to Deming New Mexico with my cargo trailer/RV for the summer. 👍
