i saw "wagstaff dont starve" in the thumbnail and then went crazy and went "WOAH OMG WAGSTAFF DONT STARVE AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" and then got a 30 killstreak in the game i was playing

Kind of hilarious looking back on this and seeing how much of a struggle it was for people to do the celestial champion stuff. It's crazy how this took a hundred days when it probably could have been done in just 65 or so days with the worst luck.
Here's a tidbit for the 3rd Phase: Tail o' 3 cats and kelp stalks work best agains it since they allow you to stand in a range and keep whipping it as it'll try his melee attacks on you but won't be able to hit you. You can whip it for 2-3 attacks till he does the gestalt attack, leave its range, come back and do more continuous whipping.
I havent seen any of this new shit in like 4 years (since they added the moon stuff originally) so this was...some kind of learning experience. the boss looks cool though. Also love the based chowder refs as always
ayo what the fuck is this who has the mental energy to remember this much gameplay wutttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt so you gotta go to the lunar island to finish pearl's quests and you gotta find a specific recipe deep down in the caves using some weird memory game, then you gotta use that item to find pieces that when combined turns every night into a full moon with the enlightenment meter and causes moonstorms that make it hard to see and cause enlightenment at day outside the lunar island, then you gotta do quests for wagstaff don't starve that give you the ingredients to the boss's summon contraption. And the wildest part is I probably missed something and/or got a lot of things wrong oh and if u kill the boss the day night cycle is perma night afterward

Pearl is the don't starve attempt at creating a stardew valley feel with quests you can't bloody finish until a certain season and woe if you missed the right one.
For the tentacles, you can place 4 wood around it or turf if lazy. Light the stuff and the tentacle will be left with a little up. One hit with a spear or better
Crown Of Light or something like that. When your sanity is above 80%, it summons gestalts to attack your enemies for a MASSIVE damage boost- it also provides a massive radius of light, and gives a sanity aura of 5.8 per minute.
The only issue is felt like the text is moving by to quick and havin to pause or rewind to read it all need like 1 extra second of it on frame or somethn
