Phrasing is nice, but tempo too brisk for my taste. I prefer a bit more pondering of a mood, where you get lost in sentimentality. When listening to this it feels pushed. Check out the Jussen Brothers version.
Thank you for referring to the Jussen Brothers (th-cam.com/video/W5qI3q01dP8/w-d-xo.html). I just listened to their playing and agree with you that their tempo suits this piece better.
However their sound recording can be improved.
