Bought the 12 mm bracelet from daniels in june and it barely arrived last month..like you said miami is backed up.. everything you said about my 8 mm is 100% how i felt..thats why i sent it in to Daniels

The 5-6 week ETA on my Daniel Jewelry Inc. Miami Cuban chain ended up taking 12-13 weeks... Let’s just say the detailed craftsmanship of each link & perfect diamond setting on my sleek lock outweighed any frustrations or complaints prior to. Don’t rush a masterpiece, thanks David!
Another good video. I went with CMG as i also like the more round vs flat look however the craftsman ship on either side is amazing. Rey’s Gold also seems to have great stuff. Once these gold prices settle I may upgrade and try on DJI.

I bought a 7mm from Daniels a few months ago and I love and wear my Cuban everyday. I only have one complaint I noticed after a couple months is the box lock doesn’t have the clicking noise and would slides right out if it weren’t for the the two locks on the side. Other than that it hangs straight and everything

Daniel is one of the few jewelers that take time to handmake the box locks. My opinion you cannot cut corners... a Cuban link box lock needs tension! Decide yourself!

You got a dope set up from Daniels. I wanted to get one from him but price per gram was too much for me. I know their quality is crazy but I wanted to try and get a big bang for my first Cuban. Check out my review on Las Villas. I really like the links. Crazy tight and uniform. Think the box lock is handmade. Take a look when you get a chance.

I like your content, I don’t know if you seen my video but you’re the reason why I bought my 9mm 14k 24in Miami Cuban link yellow gold chain. the box lock and the flat filing, the tight links but mainly the box lock was the reason I chose Daniel jewelers Inc. over CMG links and the rest. It seems like most of the jewelers that make Miami Cuban link chains use casted locks and I wasn’t feeling that. There’s just something about a handcrafted masterpiece from start to finish that I like, no corners cut this is why I went with Daniel jewelry inc

Wow, great video. At the end both are great. CMG has the better price, but lag on communicating. Daniels do get right back. Both hand make jewelry, and order takes a while.

Im debating on getting a 6mm chain or 7mm from either CMG or Daniels. Daniels I’d a little more expensive but I think the box lock is worth it? Do you know if you can pay in store Cubaknow?
It is just a lock. More than 99% of Miami Cubans in the world have casted locks, and they have no problem. The link quality is similar and the gold is the same btwn two companies. Mostly, you are effectively paying for wait times. Dropping few grands and wait for 4 weeks or 3 month is the problem. For lower width like 6 or 7mm, which is what I prefer as well, I would definitely go with CMG. Why? If you calculate the price per gram for 6 or 7mm, you will see a huge difference between two companies. Daniels only become comparably priced to CMG beyond 10mm. In that case, 10mm or larger, Daniels is no brainer-shorter wait time and handmade lock is a good bonus.

i waited 2 months to get my Daniel's Cuban link to send it back to fix. It didn't hang straight and box was not polished right
Same here bro I order 7.5 length but I also got the sleek lock with it which was a inch so the bracelet total was 8.5. Had to send it back now been waiting 2 weeks smh

I’d say most likely just because they truly are the best Cuban makers. If you want the ABSOLUTE best and are the absolute best I’d say you have the right to get a little more on the premium but hey fmfl links look nice too

DO YOU RECOMMEND A 5/6MM MIAMI CUBAN OVER A 6MM FLAT CURB as a beginner chain for daily wear?
Yes, I started with a flat curb then came to Miami cuban. I would actually recommend flat curb if it were 4mm or smaller, because they look almost the same at those sizes. For more than 4mm, people can tell the difference more and you will feel the heft (good feeling) more. I sold my 4mm flat curb and two other smaller chains for my 6mm Miami cuban. Good choice.

When comparing 6mm 24" chains with box locks and no upgrades, Daniel's are 65 grams for $4,320 whereas CMG Links' are 80 grams for $3,830.

I'm waiting for my bracelet to get fixed by DJI, bracelet stuck in FedEx for almost 3 weeks now, hopefully, not lost/stolen, hopefully, the package is insured.david did say he's starting production on my bracelet, but not sure when ill be getting it.

My 9mm chain from CMG came to me twisted by 90degrees. I paid 6k in 2018 and they told me the twist was necessary for it to lay flat. Since it would’ve cost me 700.00 to return it due to their restocking fee, I kept it. Avoid CMG. I got the emails to back up what I’m saying too.

I love my DJI 10mm 14k bracelet but it honestly doesn’t hang straight and hasn’t since I bought it 😭☹️ but it is what it is it makes it unique right?😂
With time and wear they will all eventually stop hanging straight. All that really matters is if it hung straight when you initially unboxed it so you know that it was made correctly.

Yo hermano so I'm pretty OCD, and my bracelet came almost perfect. Got extra weight, fits great, BUT 1-3 links are spaced out. Its handmade so i know nothing can be perfect but I waited much longer than most so idk if i should be complaining here. Is this common? Or am I over reacting?

Ive noticed CMGs have higher estimated weights with lower or the same prices as daniels. For example i think their 6mm cuban bracelet, 10k for 8in weighs 24g or so for $870 and Daniels is 18g for $890 i think. Something like that but why would they be?
