- A good friend of mine Rachel and her wife purchased a School bus around the same time I bought my van. We were both so excited to start our builds. Both of our builds are very similar but very different at the same time. With this video we wanted to show the differences between both rigs. By getting a school bus, Rachel went for a more affordable way in starting life on the road. Starting with the price of the bus which was $6,500 and she put about $15,000 to the inside with all its additions. Their bus is more for leisure weekend outings vs what my van was built for....I made mine to be able to be on the road for months at a time being able to drive all across the country! Another big difference between both rigs is the size. Rachel has a lot more space to create comfortable and spacious areas. This was so incredible to see. I am so proud and impressed with what my friend has created. I cannot wait to hit the road sometime and meet them all in the mountains!!
Thank you for watching. Hope you enjoyed Both our rigs and hope to catch you all on an open road sometime.

What beautiful girls!!!☺️☺️It's hard to concentrate on motorhomes😁
Definitely need insulation in the old bus! Van is so much better suited for camping and camp grounds. Hitting the grocery store or Walmart is easier in the parking lots with a far superior turning radius. BUT lots more room in the bus, and that’s a huge deal when spending time on long trips. I love the accent color on the bus as well. Both vehicles have pluses, I think for one person the van is my choice though. Great job building both!!!
10:12 best part
Then a Small Class C is the answer for me. A combination of these 2 beautiful RV's
My buddy has a 1995 School Bus Build (Black Bikes on TH-cam)...good stuff.
you can have a mirror on the inside part of your closet doors custom cut for the door one on the top door and on on the bottom door open both doors and you get a full size mirror
I would prefer the Van because I would hate to drive that huge school bus. Thanks for asking her about the cost because it's important too for one to make decisions on what might be possible.
Interesting trace of a South African accent there Rachel! 🤘🏼🤙🏼
Both of them are amazing the Van 🚐 is great for one or two people to live in it for awesome road adventure the bus 🚌 is great to travel with a family and your pet’s to the see awesome country to in joy Life with a Happy Smile 🚐😃😘😘❤️❤️🌹🌹
I like the school bus more😂, so much space
Love the scholly but van is definitely versatile.
Love this - thanks so much for sharing!

Girls you make me crazy. Great job congrats!!!
Heather, your van is an exercise in space efficiency... that's what makes it nice. It's easy to park, relatively inexpensive to drive, stealthy, etc. If you need more space, get a little single-axe 6x12 enclosed trailer and you'd have tons more room for stuff. The school bus is more of a motorhome, but you can't argue with the low cost!! I'm right in the middle -- I fulltime in a truck camper (Arctic Fox 992) and I tow a 24' enclosed trailer with a SxS, quad and motorcycle in it (and two mountain bikes).
I love them both 😊 . The van is great for touring fuel mileage, speed and can fit in most places and a beautiful setup 😉👌The bus is great for going places and staying awhile in comfort look at all that room , the possibilities are endless with what you can do with it , and she's off to a good start 😀 👍
Awesome
Cool nice
Both rigs are awesome! Heather, you can add a mirror to your closet door.
Happy New Year!
I would not do either unless I am retired! I prefer the house 😊
Wao super वैन ❤❤👌👌👌😍🤘
Not the best pace for a water heater😳, even if it’s an “outdoor” model. Both rigs are super cool in diff ways!
Out of the 2 a van, but I'm more of a slide in pop-up truck camper person.
How did she fit the bed into the bus?
I seen you on the T.V show Dirt Every Day.When did you do that?
They both look great but hers ain’t finished yet. I think I would prefer the Van any day I’m sure later on the track there is a other way to organise your bathroom
I'm guessing the difference is about $100,000.00
Yes, there is a toilet is the bus but… how you supposed to sit on it? 🤔
Rachel sound Australian ? Am I right or wrong 🤔😊
thinking the same.
They definitely need a hand from your daddy...
