I have a 03 suburban same issue just reversed my driver side has tail light but not my passenger side junction are all clean, fuses good bulbs new, new relay switch for flasher. All light work like normal but the passenger side taillight doesn't come on at all also the brake light do work all 3.
I have the exact same problem with my 03 Suburban (all lights work but my passenger tail light). My brother said that one of the wires has corroded in two and there is not enough wire to splice it back together. I am replacing the entire tail light harness this weekend and hoping that fixes the problem.
I, too, have a corrosion riddled gm. My Silverado is a nightmare. I’m in the process of redoing the wires from the junction box to the tail lights. Multiple broken wires caused by corrosion. Argh. Now I’m trying to figure out why I have no backup lights, after rewiring? Very slow process.
I was hoping you showed us how-to disconnect the plug under the back on the left hand side and I think the right hand side plugs into a wiring junction box that's known for going bad at least on the 2003 to 2006 Suburbans / Tahoes and possibly Silverados as well as the Cadillac Escalades. Does anyone on TH-cam know of a video link for the 2003-2006 Tahoe's or Suburban's as I don't want to damage the plug. It would be Super Appreciated!! Thanks Eddie J. Long Island N.Y.
and thing happend to me but idk how to fix it one of my tail lights is out and the other is on. the boss try went dead. i have no clue how to fix it. i have a cat eye chevy
Great video..! I have a 2007 ext Cadillac any chance that you can tell me why my backup/reverse lights stay on? I replaced the brake switch on the brake pedal...
The backup lamp relay and fuse are located in the under hood fuse block, The fuse is supposed to be #15 a 10 amp fuse. Cannot find a location for the relay. Check the inside of your cover. My guess is that the relay has failed on. To turn the lights off I would just pull the fuse for now.
@@TruckinBetweenRealities Thank you so much.. I have done everything you said to do however I can't figure out the location of the relay... I've been told that it is in the BCM (Body Control Module) left of the steering wheel under the dash...
My right signal works, but suddenly when I put my left signal on my hazards start working so when left signal is on it looks like my hazards are on can someone give me some feed back on how to fix this issue thanks.. on a 2004 Chevy Tahoe
@@fademeupmarvin2778 it ended up being the bulb itself. I know. I thought it was weird but for some reason the old bulb will only engage when I hit the brakes.
Well, I’ll take that as a compliment lol! Mine seemed easy really, however I learned at 220k the previous owner, the 1st owner, had the same problem so mine had been undone,

Thank so much .. was driving me crazy .. quick contact cleaner in the socket mounted under there and right as rain 👍👍👍👍
Good deal! That’s all it was for me. Took months to find it

Luckily mine was pretty decent for 270,000 in this video she had 260
Did you ever figure out what it was
Yes, my bulb assemblies were heat damaged which caused intermittent issues and finally failed. Possibly caused by poor grounding?
2002 yukon Denali! I can't get the passenger side tail light to work.
I would check at the power at the same plug with a probe light
But how do you disconnect the plug i cant get mines off

I just got where it wont light up when i push the break pedal
